Asus Zenfone V is official: 5.2" FullHD display, 23MP camera, Snapdragon 820 Comments
mmj321, 16 Sep 2017What the hell the asus zenfone 3 zoom has got f/1.7 aperture and zenfone 5 has 2.0 :(Is not about aperture sizes.
This Zenfone V probably has larger image sensor than the mid range sensor of the Zenfone 3 Zoom, so the f1.7 on 1/3.06" sensor of the Zf3Z is just as large as the f2.0 on 1/2.3" sensor of the ZfV, if not any smaller.
Anonymous, 16 Sep 2017If it has same sensor of Zen3 Deluxe, it is smaller than imx300. They probably bought it from Sony already, given that IMX300 is no longer their main flagship camera sensor (replaced by the IMX400 already).

They caters the needs of those who can't afford flagship. Don't be mistaken, they do release flagship but that's just for lip service for brand loyal customer.

If they get the pricing right, I would definitely buy it. Specs give me a Xiaomi Mi5-Mi5s vibe (not all of them, obviously). The only thing I don't get is why is the pricing of ASUS phones so steep? Is the support good? Service, warranty, software?
