So your statement is true in contrast of other MI phones but not this one.

Or try mpto x4 android one
hmmm..., 18 Sep 2017So in other words, it's more like Ooops we got caught removing evidence of our update promise ... moreYou're right. If they had not "clarify" and just publish a new list including Moto G4+ the damage would be less. Genius.
I had all moto g phones. Motog4+ is worst .. ghost touch, camera issue.
The way they justify the Oreo update for G4 Plus don't inspire confidence. They are SUPPOSED to give atleast 2 years of upgrades for flagship/mid-range smartphones.
Man, I was going to buy "Moto G5s+" this October but now I think "Xiaomi Mi A1" is a better choice due to "Android One" initiative.
O yeah, moto nice excuse you already cheated moto E 1st gen. users with lollipop update and now you are saying you never meant to update g4 plus you sucks If it was a mistake then why didn't you corrected this for 1 year moto should be sued for this cheap tactics and I was considering moto G5S but now i am not gonna buy any moto devices they are even worst than leeco
So....does that mean the Android Oreo 8.0 update will be stable and come in a timely manner??
Or are they just going to half-ass it, and release an unstable and buggy update very late like Q2 2018 ???
So Motorola has virtually said "Those customers who are looking for upgrades in line with Google's policy can look elsewhere. Motorola isn't for you". But same is the story for all Moto G series and its competitors in their price range. If you want OS and security updates, then going for mid range and above phones is the better option.
Anonymous, 18 Sep 2017What about Moto G4 Play ? Mine is still on marshmallow. The Nougat update for Moto G4 Play has released Just update your phone through fastboot method
Download the firmware file Which corresponds your devices model No Extract it and click on flash all.bat the instructions and files are available on XDA
Or you can also get unofficial Custom Roms For your Devices which are on Nougat you may also get Oreo through Custom Roms
I was seriously planning to buy Moto G6 next year but now with their new update policy, I am gonna look for Android One devices.
I'm currently using Moto G2 and it got two major OS update, Lollipop and Marshmallow.
WE Need Oreo Update For Lenovo P2. This Device Is Just 12 Months Old From Date Of Announcement. you Hear That Lenovo? we need OREO UPDATE.
Well, motorola e2 get twice update lol
Btw Motorola hardware is food, just update to slimkat should be perfect. At 2013 flagship grade galaxy s3 only update once, it delay soo long, if you good update buy iphone, but hardware not as good as motorola's
this is the reason I return my G5 Plus. Got the VZ E4 for now and when android one is available in USA i will get that. I am tired of getting obsolete phones out of the box!
