Well that's just not true. I've been downloading up to 500MB over cellular from the app store for ages... Not sure what this is about.

I’m not sure on technical feasibility, they should make it user customizable as we can change based on the cellular plan

Next will be a cap on length of voice calls to stop huge roaming fees lmfao

Does the trick of restarting your phone to bypass the restriction still work? Or using another device as a hot spot? Both are/were silly workarounds, but I guess you need a silly workaround for a silly restriction.

Why not just use same model as Android that just asks for your permission and warns that there might be fees associated with the amount of data being used...

Such stone age. 150mb limit? Lol, What are we in, 2005???

Not at all surprised, Apple offer nothing other than restrictions, always has and always will be.

Why use a device which is so restrictive? It's like buying a car that doesn't half work.....

                        LOL
Didn't know that Apple fanboys can't even download a huge game over cellular network, even though they can afford that much data! For example, here in India telcos usually provide 1-2GB data/day.
So, if I want to install Asphalt (for exmpl) I would need WiFi, or hotspot, or a PC!
                        LOL again.

Terminated the fixed line connection, switched to 4G LTE completely as home broadband connection just in this month. transferred more than 400GB of data so far in this month. Time has changed.

There should be a option to remove this limit for users with unlimited data package.

This is 2017 Apple. Now with the new iTunes update it no longer manages apps and app store integration has been removed, I don’t know how to download larger apps without wifi. I have unlimited mobile data plan.

Umm, there shouldn't be any limit in the first place... what if you don't have access to Wi-Fi at all? Yeah, it's rare these days but still that's very stupid.

But they never think about data quota.. So basically if you have tons of apps with less then 150MB updates, it STILL goes thru and ruin your data plan.

High time they need to resolve this. By allowing user to set quota limit & size limit PER app in the iOS.

This increase is a pure indication of LAZYNESS. they are not caring for customer's bill at all! Just plan old lazy. Maybe they needed the time to make more Animojs..*FACEPALM*
