There are many very sensible and very very very non-sensible features in apple products....
One good example for the latter is , in the initial version of ios, the keyboard layout displayed alphabets in CAPS by default.....
Such very very very non-sensible things are just to avoid patents dispute and they know there are always sheeps to follow them..... There is a difference between out of box and out of universe thinking... i gues this time they stuck to the latter..... Dont bother sheeps always sound meh meh meh......
Samsung Fanboy Bitch, 21 Sep 2017Bionic A11, haha Since when are u a Sony fanboy, I thought you use a Lenovo K6 (you have a location tag btw). And what is so funny about the by far fastest chip in a phone?
Thats call "Apple Innovation" lol :P. Can't stop laughing! I feel bad for those iOS users.
Oathbreaker, 21 Sep 2017Keeping my SE at 10.2.1. I hate the new Control Center. I think iOS11 was really built for iPa... moreThe iOS 10 one looks better, but the iOS 11 one is much more functional and even customizable. I'll keep 10.3.3 until iOS 11 is pretty much bug free (like 10.3.3). You should really make the move from 10.2.1 to 10.3.3, it's much better with APFS
Rafe Firmani, 21 Sep 2017So tell me if Apple has managed succesfully run BT file transfer to Android phones...... *yawnThere is an app called SHAREit
The Control Center toggle for Airplane Mode works according to the last "manual" setting. For example, turning Airplane Mode ON will turn off Cellular and Data off AND Bluetooth and Wifi. If while Airplane Mode is On you turn Bluetooth and Wifi ON, then turn Airplane Mode OFF, the next time you turn ON Airplane Mode, Wifi and Bluetooth will stay ON.
In iOS 11 and later, toggling the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth switches in Control Center off will immediately disconnect the device from Wi-Fi and Bluetooth accessories, but both radios will continue to be available for: AirDrop, AirPlay, Apple Pencil, Apple Watch, Continuity features, like Handoff and Instant Hotspot, Instant Hotspot, Location Services...
The funniest is this:
When Wi-Fi is disabled, as denoted by the dimmed Wi-Fi icon in Control Center, the Auto-Join feature for any nearby Wi-Fi networks also gets disabled until:
- You turn on Wi-Fi in Control Center
- You manually connect to a Wi-Fi network in Settings -> Wi-Fi
- You walk or drive to a new location
- It is 5am local time
- You restart your device
Similarly, when you toggle the Bluetooth icon in Control Center, you will no longer be able to connect the device to any Bluetooth accessories until:
- You turn on Bluetooth in Control Center
- You connect to a Bluetooth accessory in Settings -> Bluetooth
- It is 5am local time
- You restart your device
So if you don't do turn off them in Settings, the radios will be On and it can be tracked plus the wifi drainning battery. People usually use the Control Center of forget the Settings... so a simple app could be selled to the shops in the comercial area uhmmm letting them to know where the iOS 11 users go in the area, where they eat or shop, even follow an identify a selected one, or let you track a friend or... : )
Nice feature Apple!!!
MdN8, 21 Sep 2017Also a good thing if someone wants to track the owner. If someone wanted to track someone, there are many ways to do so, i.e. involving IMEI scanners, and that's impossible to block except turning off all cellular features AND Wi-Fi Calling. But yeah, flaws and sniffers exist. We've heard of 8 big BT flaws, the so-called BlueBorne flaws
Just turn on Airplane mode.. for those afraid of brain cancer.
If Apple decided to be MORE "smart" in the future, and turn on Wifi / BT even when Airplane mode is on.. and cause a "Airplane disaster", leading to boycott of the brand.. THAT would be well deserved..
Apple.. adding features when not needed.. don't provide features when people wants it..

I love the "view all" for larger messages.. Crazy to say the least. And Gmail is unnecessarily complicated. Suddenly my mails went to 'all mail' instead of primary out of the blue. Two Evils I say. It feels like Im living in 1998 over here
