Flat display, flat corners, 16:9. It's like TVs, this is a trend that will hopefully go away again
Idk why tf do we need to do these stupid things.
We want change, FOR THE BETTER, not for worse.
These things look hideous af. Can't they think of any better design to that?
I'd rather stay with very outdated look that is still more practical and useul than have these new so-called "creative" designs that look nothing but like an art of an infant.
2014 is the pinnacle of technology, including design.
My most favorite phone designs of all time are those of the Motorola Google Nexus 6, LG G2, and LG G3, with razor thin bezels but not being too ridiculous.
Oh, I forgot that they have an advantage, too. What is it, you may have ask.
THEY ARE 16:9 IN RATIO (!!!!).
Come on, most contents are created in that way.
18:9 is great for large screen devices, not smartphones.
We don't want large screens, but we've only asked for more comfortable and pocketable devices, which can only be achieved by reducing the bezels by some margin.
Can't you hear us, OEMs? REDUCE THE GODDAMN BEZELS AND LEAVE EVERYTHING AS THEY ARE, and I'll be ready to buy your products any time.

Cutouts that make it difficult to watch videos because it blocks a small portion of the screen, I do not like smartphone screens without any bezel, at least give a flat slab of top and bottom bezel so it is equal and is easy to watch videos without anything blocking in your way

I selected the no cut out at all because i want nothing at the front not even huge bezel iPhone x has all around (I Hope you get it if dont they are 4 mm)

I am not against cutouts. I don't think the iPhone X cutout is ugly. It is currently a uniquely iPhone feature and if any other Android phone adopts the exact same cutout for its screen, it is clearly a copycat. Disclaimer: I dislike Apple.

There should always be a little bezels, for protection and option to use real comfortable covers. It's pure stupidity to sacrifice quality and comfort for design.

Notification 80% panel is good idea, Apples is ugly. Rounded corners not comfortable. Flat boring.

Cutouts? May look future proof but is actually as fugly and no start button from windows 8.

No cutouts at all. I dont really like rounded edges either. Normal screen is best for media consumption.

No cut outs. Rounded corners are also fine. I think you need some small bezzels to avoid touching the side accidentally.
