Cutouts are what completely kills a phone to me, I would never buy a phone having them. At the same time, I can understand the rounded corners if they are a necessity increasing durability of a bezel-less phone, and ONLY if they're absolutely necessary. In a perfect world we would have a flat, regular (rectangular), 16:9 display (like all of the content, with nothing cut out).

Samsung and LG's approach are very good,would be perfect if they add front facing stereo speakers.
