Sony Xperia XA1 Plus launched in India Comments

The last paradigm shift was cut their low entry phone (E series was upgraded from low entry to lowest mid range series) and keeping their Xperia division live for more years (well, their Xperia brand is almost 10 years, they must be have a plan to revolutionized it tho.)
Anonymous, 21 Sep 2017i see now. is that the reason why sony keep using the same plastic ugly square design? and als... moreI don't know it's the exact reason, but the reason why Sony is playing safe with their design and build are because they will do something new, revolutionary, unexpected and unimaginable things when they're prepared to launched it very well-cooked aswell the notes from its loyal fans, plus alternative of material that can be used for their flagship / mid-range. Such as bezel-less design, new design, internal storage, camera, and much more. Even it's already out in the past, they will refined it for another years such as less bezel of Xperia ZL, build of their mid-ranger series (solid plastic : polycarbonate), etc. R&D is also important for these form factors of changing its phone division, but they're preparing something big when it's done and digging for profit also the reason they took a very long time to redefine their exterior components, so they can do more. Well, i possibly explained the unknown reason for it, but we'll see later in 2018 at MWC. Something will change. Not denying Sony does has some flaw on their phones (other such as Samsung and Apple does have at least one too.)

Hasn't Sony gotten the memo that we don't care about megapixels anymore? I'd rather have the bigger pixels with more light captured on them. What's the point of megapixels if social media and photo sites store them at 2-8MP anyway?
MrJulli, 21 Sep 2017Sad. I was expecting about $275-$300 price range.Hate to burst yout bubble tho. But that price range you mentioned earlier , was already taken by XA1 (and former XA Ultra) . There's no way Sony retaking that place with their new XA1 Plus. It will ruined everything Sony has planned , due XA1 is a legacy of their known mid-range water resistant Xperia M Series. So they made the XA1 Plus price higher than XA1 but lower than XA1 Ultra.
