Apple designers were told to do the *first* iPhone embodying themselves as designers for Sony making a new phone, thus there were early (internal) drafts with Sony logos and everything. Sony was *NEVER* involved in that process, it was all role-play within Apple (and with Apple designers).

It's the Samsung fans with ugly visions requested for bezel-less design, where Sony is now implementing their upcoming flagship. Bezels are here to protect the bloody device, and who said AMOLED, when screen repair is cheaper to replace LCD than AMOLED. I don't think Samsung fans ever used Xperia device with 23MP, now requesting for better lowlight 12MP, there is superior auto mode which has low light if you know how to use it.

I hope Sony keeps the front firing stereo speakers. Sony phones are definitely in need of bezel reduction, but if it comes at the cost of stereo speakers then it won't be truly worth it. Keeping the Screen to body ratio at 75% should allow them to somehow keep the dual speaker and maybe increase the battery capacity at the same time.

My main problem with Sony phones is lack of quality. Not bezels or features or anything.
Next Sony flagship, I want to see a Dual Camera (Wide+Telephoto), with main camera being a 12-16 Megapixel f/1.6 phone with large pixels, at least 1.4 um, which should churn out excellent pictures. And enough slow motion modes too. I'm talking about 720p@960, 1080p@480 fps, 4K@60 fps, etc...
And I want Audio quality to lead the chart, even ahead of Galaxy Note 8, in terms of loudspeaker and headphones, both.
I know currently the Snapdragon 835 may pose a limit, but I hope the next gen solves this.

Sony is always very very late in everything, Lacks vision. Thats why sony always suffers bad sales.
