I gave the G4 to my brother. In every aspect, LG camera is better. The G4 auto mode itself better than iPhones and galaxies. Compared the G4 with every smartphone except pixel. It beats everything. LG is the best in camera. Hope v30 will be a beast.
Claes de Vrieslaan, 27 Sep 2017Well, a new kind of Nokia 808 but for filming. For the price i'll better take an iPhone 8, 7 ... more6s? 7? what you talking about? i have LG V20, my friend Huawei P10 lite, and another friend iphone 6s... P10 lite is better than 6s by far and its cheaper, better low light shots, macro shots, zoom and so on , maybe only thing where 6s wins is accurate color in daylight situations. and my 350$ V20 eats both of them, i must say that selfie cam on V20 needs some improvements just in indoor shots, but there is also manual mode wich can double quality of picture, huawei have great manual mode but not even close, and iphone 7 camera isnt big improvment (7 plus is noticiable but i still pref my V20 ) i didnt have a touch with iphone 8 but according to DxO mark its amazing camera but pixel 2 beats it, i wonder V30 score i can bet that LG will beat both of them, ofc my V20 isnt even close iphone 8/plus if you trust DxO mark but i will test that for sure if LG dont bring V30 before december in europe, wich is 75% chance, also V30 price will drop fast like any other LG phone, V10 was 750, after 2 months 450, G5 was 600 if i remember and after 3 months falls to 300, G6 was 600$ now u can find it for about 350-400$ , V20 was 800 , 2 months after 500, now in my country about 330$ , S7 edge is still 450 for example. Thanks other brands for making amazing devices but i need best overall performance as cheap as it's possible, also V30 is neck on neck with note8 and its a lot cheaper, so u can get branded phone in half price if u wait 2-3 months, also not to mention that LG is a leader in TV industry, with biggest, overall best, most features, best sound and most expensive product. i wonder did u see 7000$ 105 inch LG TV with 300+ watts sound system and its old about 2 years now i wonder whats their best in 2k 17/18.

I will definitely try V30 out as well. :)
Anonymous, 29 Sep 2017You are good joker! Have you ever used Dslr? Is V30 able to adjust aperture? The point of the video flew over your head.

In portugal we call the 970 Strix as TI since is pratically the same as having one. Don't you think?

Like i said before:
LG did a great job with an Filmic Pro kind of system included in a android phone.
The price is just too high.
Ain't an Samsung fanboy with my Nexus 5x.
Ain't an Apple fanboy with them high prices.
The V30 is the best cine phone ever but to expensive.
AnonD-696124, 28 Sep 2017" If I got this correct, you are seriously damaging your battery...because it does not charge ... moreTypo on the pascal architecture, i want to say Maxwell. I'm willing to upgrade to a pascal graphics card really soon. So, that's that
AnonD-696124, 28 Sep 2017" If I got this correct, you are seriously damaging your battery...because it does not charge ... morebasically you are bragging over how good you are in playing games and you start quoting your computer components....go right ahead...maybe someone out there has not heard you yet...keep going, it seems it's the only thing you are good at.
Your only experience, and you cannot deny it, is based on games, which is sad...read a book instead (way better for your eyes).
"LG doesn't provide that 100% experience mainly because it gets too hot and the battery drain is extraordinary" - how on earth can you say such stupid thing...basically you are condemning all LG phones and considering that the V30 has yet to appear on the market I can only speculate that you truly are a hater of this gorgeous beast or you probably are an LG engineer and you alone designed the battery and know very well (from games of course) how hot it gets. Amazing facts...got any more to share?
P.S. we're glad that you are posting on a page where an LG device is being presented..this shows how many haters there are in the world when a better device is being presented..which is better their look-a-like Apple device

Ever heard of Dash charge on the oneplus 5? Ever saw reviews of the oneplus 5 cnocerning the dash charge while using the phone and charging at the same time?
You really seem ignorant concerning tech.
I got a SLI nvidia Pascal setup 2x GTX970 TI concerning graphics card myself, i don't even know why you asked that from me.. I'm talking about mobile gaming, clash royale, DriftX racing, Real Racing, Dungeon hunter, etc.. Seems like you don't know sh!t about flagship devices.
You saying LG is one of the best Ram managment device out there but you forget that oneplus is the best at that. Damn sure i'm good at playing games, at that's why i'm constantly upgrading my setups.
Playing games is a hobby of mine and my wife's. We like to entertain ourself playing together. And when we do, we need devices that work 100%.
LG doesn't provide that 100% experience mainly because it gets too hot and the battery drain is extraordinary, keep in mind, the oneplus 5 is nearly 30-40% more efficient and has a 50% better battery endurance...
That's what you get when you wanna buy pretty instead of an overall incredible performer.
.alpha, 27 Sep 2017With $50000 in accessories, you can do that with any flagship cameraNo, you can't because no other smartphone will let you record footage in LOG format, which allows you to professionally color grade your video (change the colors settings and look and feel).
With all that equipment, the most you can achieve with any other smartphone is smooth and stabilized recording.

Those are far more suited for playing games than a smartphone. It is well known that games tend to overheat your device, no matter the brand you are using. But, and I think I got this right, you are browsing the web while your phone is charging? If I got this correct, you are seriously damaging your battery...because it does not charge correctly.
And, please stop comparing OnePlus with LG. LG is well known for being one of the most innovative companies in the smartphone industry while, besides a well oiled OS - which I have to give them credit for, their phone looks like and Apple. LG has one of the best ram management in android compartment but what am I saying...play your games...you're probably good at that..only!

Try charging that phone and browser the web and you'll see how your fingers start to burn. LG partially fixes their phones, the overheating remaines since the LG G2.
Compare the LG G6 to the oneplus 5 and you'll end up with one burning your hand and the other remaining ice cold when doing the same tasks...
LG is a good trademark but it still has issues and lack of optimizations.
Take oneplus for an instance, a company that started 4 years ago and look where they are now. They are selling their phones distributing flyers.
AnonD-454153, 28 Sep 2017camera far better than iphone 8No, it's not. Tiny sensor and color reproduction problems after color sensor removed. Plus - udly design and hardly overpriced. With infamos LG deny of support.
I have a Galaxy 7 Edge, and a Red Hydrogen on order, but if the Red goes over my budget or implodes The LG will be my next 'phone. I already have DaVinci Resolve 12 (Came with my BMC) so will upgrade to 14. Also have Avid MC6.3, time to go to 8?
Unfortunately can't justify a Red Weapon.
I owned an LG G4 and now the galaxy s7 edge.
Next phone will probably be the LG V30.
In terms of camera software, LG is far ahead of any other brand. If used in manual mode it feels like being a DSLR camera. Samsung have the same options but using them is difficult and annoying. Samsung is very good (better than LG I believe) in automatic mode.
Those that don't bother with photography and manual mode (called "pro" on samsung) they can use any other phone (iphone, huawei, ...) and the result will be very close. In manual mode the LG is the phone to buy and it is a real pleasure to use it.
Another detail: LG can shoot images with 30s exposure time wile samsung only 10s. In addition, when using the long exposure time, samsung images are a bit blurry (not much but visible).
