Surficial, 28 Sep 2017Do the tests with an Xz1 compact and a oneplus 5, the fastest phone and the best multitasker r... moreI agree with the comments based on the gsmarena review

The iPhone 8 posted mind boggling Geekbench 3 scores, the iPhone 8 single core score in some cases beat the some other flagship multicore scores, in any event the Note 8 was nowhere near the iPhone 8
So you watch this video and you realize that the lagging comments must be based on score alone

The XZ 1 compact did NOT post the best benchmarks by far http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_xz1_compact-review-1660p5.php

The real life performance however as you can read was excellent... OK

I'm an android user since ever, from Apple the only things I had was some iPods (old one and an iPod Touch).
I love Android and I hate iOS, but Apple's hardware is impressive, specially GPU.
All in all, a smartphone with Apple A11 Bionic + 6GB/8GB RAM running Android 8 would be the best. Period.

Tech-9, 28 Sep 2017just because iPhone have double faster memory read speed mean iphone can open games faster Also the iPhone renders half of the pixels which is much less demanding to the gpu and processor!

Bezeless is a godsend to usability if done right (proper palm rejection). It's what was needed for year in phones (both big screens *and* small size)

One's just going to slow down within a few months. Buy a flipping Sony phone; bezellessness ruins usage.

Samsung is the master of the real workhorse multitasking phones. The synthetic boosting of performance during the first 2 minutes of a benchmarking app that Apple does with their "bionic chip" has nothing to do with real life usage.

Anonymous, 28 Sep 2017I wonder when people realize that this is absolutely NOT the case. Did you watch iPhone 7 vs 7... moreAdding hundreds of gigs of RAM to iOS simply won't make any difference as iOS DOESN'T use neither app caching nor suspend to RAM.

RAM is about 100x the speed of NAND. This is curtsey of Linux RAM management.
