Rounded corners are not that great in my view. Whenever I see the pictures of Note 8 and Note 7, I immediately like the Note 7.
They may have protective function, I don't know. But not great. Hopefully Sony won't start with the rounded corners. Then again, they are boarding the bezel less train.

Those 2.5D glass screens make it hard to place screen protectors. Either they don't cover the entire screen or they lift up on the edges, trapping dust and other gunk.

Did you guys read the option you gave us and comments correctly? People said rounded corners AT MOST. As in, rounded corners are as far as people are willing to accept for a bezelless screen. It’s not a trend, nobody wants to have corners of their photos or videos cut out. It’s just that they are a compromise that people are still willing to take, but not more. That’s what I, and I assume vast majority of the 60% voted for.

Rounded corners or 2.5D Glass, it's hard to find a proper edge to edge covering tempered glass that won't stick out after putting on a case.. This is the only thing I don't like about rounded corners and 2.5D curved glass..

Screen cutouts a la iPhone X and Essential PH-1 are an absolute no-no.
And the traditional rectangular screen got relatively weak support, thanks to the picture showing HTC's massive bezels.

Rounded corners looks good in standby mode. But it's annoying me on photo editor, office suite and full screen video viewing or recording.

A little bit of bezels is fine, but what the iPhone X and the Essential phone did is basically butt ugly, not to mention that the iPhone X still has humongous bezels all around compared to other phones.

Rounded bezzeels on screen like WTF.
Looks ugly. Especialy on Iphone X and that bitten top like WTF.

Who cares about bezelless display these days??? It is the future, but 70% people won't like it. A lot of people are buying used phones back in 2014 , 2013 or worse..2009 phones.
