Googleheads...after first Pixel sold almost exclusively in US,you did it again.$650/550euro price in US,but in Germany -800euro/944$.....wtf??!!!!thats what, 45% difference....
So,I guess people in Europe should buy other phones,certainly not your ugly massively overpriced repacked U11...thats your message to european consumers,Google?

Tech-9, 04 Oct 2017Test 🙄I totally agree with you, this is crazy. Personally, I'm not buying cellphones made by Apple, Samsung or Google, because I believe they are way overpriced and the manufacturers are just robbing their customers.
BTW - my current cellphone: ZTE Axon 7.

Seriously £900 for the Pixel 2 XL 128GB phone?
Flagship phones have literally got 50% more expensive in the last 12 months. Same for other manufacturers too. My S7 Edge bought almost exactly a year ago had a retail price of £610 at 4he time and that was already overpriced. What is the cause of this very heavy industry price rise? Same could be said of midrange phones too.
I'd appreciate it if Gsmarena could do an article about this, even asking manufacturers.

Crazy google prices, not everybody around in the world made dollars. With that price in my country, you need to work at least 2-3 months with a good office job.

Mailman, 04 Oct 2017In USA and Canada you still need to add tax when buying. What about Europe?You have to add shipping + handling costs + insurance during international transportation. Than, you have to add the Custom duties (could be 20% because the device is made in China). On top of the cost structure, you have to add TVA (sales tax). You can consider TVA = 20%.
And, I didn't mentioned the re-seller markup...
