I've tried them all and have... moreI agree about build quality, but Oppo and Vivo phones have very buggy software, locked bootloaders, haphazard development and a company management that simply does not care. With regards to OS updates you won't get "Yes" or "No" from them, you'll get "we don't know", and that goes all the way up to the highest management, because they have a really small dev team and they don't even know what they're up to, that's why you see devices with 6.0 Marshmallow released in 2017 - because software is last priority - and if the dev team isn't finished with the latest, they just take whatever is available. Really poor management, and these companies do NOT care at all about international markets - just to sell phones, they entered into these nations - no focus on software support whatsoever (e.g. China version may get Android update, international version will never get it).

I've tried them all and have come to the conclusion that oppo and Vivo phones are just as good or sometimes even better built than xiaomi, lg and Samsung phones. But to each their own.
