Ak, 06 Oct 2017non removable batteries was the biggest treason that the mobile making companies did to the cu... moreI agree. non removable batteries suck. the thing is nowadays there are countless shiny new phones that look good but from head to toe they are engineered to fail. and when a phone costs an arm and a leg , that's very bad value for money.

They have insulated the phone a lot this time.. As seen from the review of Jerry rig everything, they made a special sealing to the sides of both glass panels this time.. After all the waterproofing, maybe the phone is unable to breathe properly.. Anyway expecting Apple also to admit issues like Samsung did.. Else all respect will be lost...

From next year, Apple will remove Battery from the iPhone and charge it separately. The following year it will sell only a rectangle glass as iPhone and everything else separately (Camera, Board, Volume Button, etc..)
Kudos Apple... Steve would be proud of you ...

Funny how the fanboys start brainless bashing and forget the real issue altogether.
The real issue is unsustainably slim phones, give us thick phones back with big and safe battery, better heat distribution, better grip and a better camera with a big sensor and real optical zoom rather than this dumb dual camera crap.

AnonD-633729, 07 Oct 2017There were cases of sony phones exploding but they never recalled their phones because sony is... moreIt is always a cost benefit thing with recalls. How much does it cost to recall vs how much damages you will have to pay out in settlements. Given how few Sony phones are sold in the litigious US, doubtful they'll ever recall.

It just proof, what there is no perfect manufacturer, because it is not possible to produce such a large quantity devices with tenths of different suppliers without any defected units, Appple, Samsung all others had and will have defected devices it is normal, if you cry and bash them because you got one just relax, return one and they will replace to working one

After looking into it Apple will say the batteries are swelling with pride.

Swollen batteries to the point it pops up the screen is a high risk..thus using cheap batteries in extremely high priced phone to maximize profit... Quality control issue...

It is not xploding cos it has space to open screen. On the other hand Note 7 didn't hv that space so it xplodes.
