Sony Ericsson K850 goes 5 megapixel Comments

SE K850 dose not have a WLAN and that is the main disadvantage in my eye.....................

This phone is something to be anticipated. SE had been known for manufacturing great camera phones. Nokia's Carl Zeiss toting camera phones do not even match SE's high quality picture resolution. I had been using W800i for quite a while from Asia to my place here in North America and people who see my phone comments that there's so much technology on my phone which can still outperform newer ones.

I have to agree N series handsets are dissapointing with regards to reliabilty. I have used a SE for some time now and did try a Nokia (it lasted less than a week). Can't wait to see what this SE is going to be like

I have used S/E for some time now.
Iwork for a mobile provider adn all i can say is that the n series is about as reliable as a chocolate fireguard. we replace moe of these than any ther handsets. The sony speaker is not great but on the plus side it does work

Everything that I have read about this phone is perfect! To me Sony Ericsson is the best phone company and after reading about this phone I think it will give Nokia n95 a run for its money! I just hope they release it on time and not delay it like they did with the p990 which to me was a huge disappointment. They made the phone a quad band so atleast the US market can also use it. Which is treated like a step child!

this is much better than a digicam...added 3 LEDs for video recording..plus xenon flash for pic capturing..good job Sony Ericson..keep it up..

Video at 30fps but resolution is only 320*240 samsung and nokia are giving 352*288 and 640*480.way better

I reckon the phone looks good all in all but why (just why!!) would SE make the softkeys so small???
They look like they would be really hard to use ???

I think this is a great phone but have recently noticed something peculiar..
The backside of the phone appears to be one whole peice and there doesnt appear to be any part that slides off for the battery and sim card???
If anyone knows where the battery goes please say so.

a good move from SE, 5 mpix etc etc, but for u who had already K800/810, dont dissapointed, ur phone is still great, i still prefer to wait T650, its a matter of taste.

Currently using the K800i and very happy with it, speaker is however not the best, but the rest makes up for it. Battery still outlasts my Nokia pals with their fancy N series phones. The K850 will most certainly be a option!!!

lol, the speaker sucks? they are reknowned for there speaker, and their sound quality is known in the industry as the best so i dont know how that holds up really

no wonder the sales of SE are not comparable to Nokia's, SE rocks for some, but I used W900i, W810i and K800i, ALL i HAVE TO SAY iS...THE SPEAKER SUCKs.

I'm sorry but I think SE had to put a 5mp cam in this phone, they made this phone just to be alive! after LG kg920 and Nokia N95
