I'm stuck with the Samsung SM-T561, Galaxy Tab E (9.6", 3G).
I wish the nice salesman had been honest with me about the Android 4.4.4 limitation. The tablet is useless to me.
The only option seems to have an expert root and brick it. Nice going Samsung, version obsolescence as a business model. (I'll invest in your shares but not your products.)
Jordan, 06 Jan 2018So not possible to upgrade nougat 7.0 if the model is t 561 ?I know your feel. So do I. My tablet is T561 so I can't update. I really hope my tablet is android 7 but it never become.
sange, 25 Oct 2017what do you think on the SM-561 update will be released?I was very clear in my comment.
If the Galaxy Tab E 9.6 is not SM-T560NU or SM-T567, it will remain stopped on Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
Unfortunately it is only the Galaxy Tab E 9.6 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset (SM-T560NU and SM-T567) which is being contemplated with Android Nougat.
The Galaxy Tab E 9.6 International (with Spreadstrum SC7730SE chipset) will continue forever on Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
Matt, 08 Oct 2017Um.. nothing? Tab S was launched in 2014. You shouldn't expect Nougat.Thats true, its specs are far superior to the Tab E but thanks to the obligatory 2 year update cutoff it won't get it.
guess its time to get LineageOS
Anonymous, 07 Oct 2017How about Nougat for the Galaxy Tab S 10.5?Um.. nothing? Tab S was launched in 2014. You shouldn't expect Nougat.
Is there a lineage os nougat for Samsung tab 4 smt 530 with camera working?
Guys... it's 7.1.1 not 7.0. Check Sammobile
