KamAbdi, 08 Oct 2017NO one said it couldnt be fixed... But as of right now its not working and it won't work and ... moreHow is it not working? Apple explained what happened at the demonstration. Were you there? Do you work at Apple? Can you prove that what they say is not the truth? If you can't then why should we believe your words rather than Apple?
Again, the fingerprint and the iris-scanner has both been trick. It does not matter how much you repeat the its the least secure technologies. You have no proof of that since its not even out yet and not been put to test by others than Apple. Just saying a fingerprint scanner is more secure does not make any sense because its up to the implementation. Wait for the product to be tested before you judge it...

Because every individual person's eyes are different from each other so it's hard and if you want to hack a person's phone or something like that, then, you have to kill the person and take of his eye.
the only defect the iris scanner has is that when your wearing a sunglasses, it won't work.

But as of right now its not working and it won't work and im not saying for apple, no. I'm saying it because this technology needs time to improve and more algorithms.
This technology is the least secure in compare of the other two technologies and took a big risk for the people who use apple pay.

If Samsung is the only one that will have under-display fingerprint readers, then I know which phone I will by next. Nothing beats the simplicity of a fingerprint scanner

Apple's claim that FaceID is more secure than fingerprints is plain BS, and it's just their pathetic excuse for failing to put TouchID under the display or either the power button or the back of the phone.

Ask any security expert and they'll tell you facial recognition, 3D or not, is the least secure among Facial, fingerprint and Iris recognition. The fact that twins can fool FaceID is more than enough proof it's not that secure, while even identical twins don't have the same fingerprints or iris patterns. Iris scanning is the most secure of the three, with fingerprint second.

Don't forget it's inconvenient because you pretty much have to have the phone at your face to unlock it just like iris scanning, while you can unlock your phone without even looking at it using your fingerprint.

They were working all the time, trying under-glass fingerprint scanner to work. There were plenty of rumours about it. They couldn't get it to work eventually, however. That's when the rumours started they may do facial recognition. It was already very late when those rumours started first good.
They never intended to go with it from the very beginning. But when time ran out, they had only two options:
"We could just place the fingerprint scanner on the back, like any sane person. There are already lots of phones like that. Or we could try to use that Kinect stuff, which we have lying in some drawer since 2013, which we could never got to work properly."

"The first would be too boring. Besides, otherwise we would not have enough new stuff. Bezel-less displays are aplenty already, and those animoji will only make three year olds happy. We removed the headphone jack last year already, and we need to save removing the Lightning port for next year, where we can tout the new wireless only charging phone as a great new feature. Besides, that will also help sales of our airbuds."
