That's awesome, but I wonder why is it in mobile phones' site?
Is it related to mobile cameras in any way?

You guys should remember that this stuff was made for professional film making. Do you really expect that future Avatar 2 or future X men movies or future Pirates of Carribean, ETC., those mega million $ budget movies will be shot just using only "future" LG V100 or iphone 15 or whatsoever?? LMAO

Wish it would come to smartphone space, it would at least mean confidence in quality shots at 32Mp. Would love to see that. As it stands only sony seems cabable to bring it.

Sony Xperia FOREVER, 07 Oct 2017i can buy a car, rent a home, and get a job with that amount! Keep in mind that this is pretty much aimed at professionals. Because with this you also need consequent, fast storage ( one minute of recording is 18000MB, so you need TBs of storage at at least 300MB/s), a 8K monitor, a 8K-60 capable graphics card (NVIDIA GTX 1070+), and a beast of computer with a deca-core CPU and ton of RAM, all of this to do some basic editing.
