I have been shooting with an iPhone 8 and don't see anything like this.
Have you even held one? Perhaps you should read some reviews of the iPhone 8, at least, before you make silly comments.

Google and Apple rule the camera phone market today.except if you shoot with an Apple phone, you'll have a blurry, messy picture. Use Raw and you'll have a lot of noise because of the small sensors, so you'll have to deal with that.
Google uses much higher quality post processing and image stacking and a larger, higher quality sensor with faster autofocus.

Amazing Processing. It's so much more about processing than Anything Else.
I clicked on the Source and the collection is absolutely amazing. I guess all smartphone companies can take a leaf or 2 from Google Processing Algorithms and how to have absolutely insane photos out of a smartphone. The detail and sharpness could be further improved, but it does a superb job, regardless.
