Make great touch screen compact phones like Z10/Z30 and continue improving them and not just move from one experimental handset to another. Even Passport was a great phone and they should now make the next generation of Passport with a full touchscreen. Ditch that obsession with yesterday's keyboard! You'll be darling of the professional users again!

In fact, the very reason TCL buy BB brand is because they were not success. They quality is sub par compared to other china brand, and they're support is not as good. To turn this around, they think if they can put western brand on their product, their product will be more valuable.

So, for all those BB fans... Think twice before buying the new BB.

No. It was a powerful SMALL device with a good speakerphone. Email . Phone signal and call quality. Getting out text.
I personally like the BlackBerry touch keyboard than physical keyboard.
I want phone I don't have to do one-handed gymnastics with an fear of dropping. Gaming and multimedia is nice, not to a professional's deal breaker. Give me a octo-core processor, 720p sub 5" screen, great stereo speakers\speakerphone, 32 GB memory, 4 GB of RAM, MicroSD slot and IP 67/68. I will pay what they want. The Sony derived camera would be nice, too.

Modern China's got some promising young designers.. Look at Xiaomi for example, not just the phones, all their other products and other companies.. Even Lenovo, Oppo or LeEco got more design sense than BlackBerry.. It's shameful to flush legendary brands (that goes to Nokia as well..) down the drain like that..

They really seem just out of touch. Need to do more if they want to make a come back. This is just mediocre. banking on nostalgia alone is not enough. I'm seeing much more effort from Nokia.

But as usual their marketing isn't good enough. As they have not been able to make it clear what they (claim to?) offer securitywise over stock Android. And I'm NOT talking about usually being quick on the security updates (unbranded devices, for the branded the delay is the carriers responsibility)

So as users we have NO idea if the BB take on Android is "substantially", or just a "trifle" more secured to use than a stock Android device. So the end user that potentially could be a buyer for this motionless Motion, has NO idea what should make this device better than its innumerous competitors...

Blackberry. Bring in compact phone with flagship experience. Professional users still use mobile fine as communication device. There are lots of taker for compact flagship device with screen size less than 4.6", having overall height less than 130mm

BB die hard fans always mention security. Do they know that in some countries, BB has allowed the local sovereign to store their data in the local server (which is bound by the local regulations and obtainable by the government)?
