I was right there in the crowd grilling SONY for watering down some of the specs, bloating up the price, and keeping their large bezels.

Sorry bud, no company gets a pass from me. I don't like one logo over another, however, that doesn't mean I'm ignorant of past performance and future implications.

AnonD-607786, 10 Oct 2017Blackberry-Please prepare Blackberry which is suitable for Indian market with cost around $30... moreThe problem is BB think that the 'extra' security it offer have lots of value.

BB didn't understand, that they should give the 'extra' security FREE, as a way to lure customer. --- (They should lower the phone price to make it competitive)

please note, that I don't think there is extra security offered by BB. I think Galaxy S (i.e. S7/S8) or Galaxy Note (i.e. Note 8) or HTC or Sony or Pixel is AS SECURE AS bb device.

Blackberry-Please prepare Blackberry which is suitable for Indian market with cost around $300 then Blackberry will beat all the phones and regain the No.1 Spot. though so many android phone/apple phones in the market but all are useless which lack security.

Nowadays everything will happen through Phone payment, transactions So high end security necessary to protect the privacy.

Well I'm Malaysian but of course I do feel for our Euro friends. Even when it'll arrive to my side of the pond, the price won't really differ that much due to our currency situation and the same shipping + tariffs etc. Put it simply when this is yes too damn close or even at some instances, even exceed the likes of S8, S8+ and 1+5 you gotta wonder if they're wayyy too uptight about DTEK's worthiness.

For this price, they gotta at least guarantee that base OS + software updates' rollout must either match or as close as possible to AOSP/Pixel's level or gtfoh.

At EUR 400, I would consider it.
At EUR 500, it is way to close to the Nokia 8 and Galaxy S8.

Too expensive at €499.

For that price they need to at the least upgrade the:
- storage from 32GB eMMC 5.0 to 64GB UFS 2.0 (or better)
- processor from QSD 625 to QSD 660 (or better)
- camera from OmniVision OV12890 to a SONY IMX 270 (or better)
