Can combine both for increased functionality. Once you get used, it can be better solution. Maintains better gripping & other functionality while using the large productive phone. Let's not discuss about taste.

But it doesnt especify if those "up to" 120fps are for playback or recording... so its not really a proof of anything.
I really don't know why Samsung won't keep their invention and release on MWC or IFA to make people having surprise or wow. Samsung's marketing is always announce future news, this keep people waiting for so long and it is just wasting time for those looking for the future things.
I am not sure a fingerprint sensor under the screen is actually a good idea, to begin with. This is why:
1. It is assigned to a small area on the screen and having any larger area is a on expensive proposition.
2. Nobody seems to have discussed its effect on the actually display and what features it hampers/ slows down.
3. The few prototypes that have been displayed (Vivo and Snapdragon collaborations) have terribly slow unlocking times (a second or over).
Right now it seems like the poorly implemented iPhone Face Recognition.
Samsung should but place a fingerprint button below their cameras, placed on the lines where the Moto X ones are placed.
Most importantly, it shouldn't waste time and research resources on innovation that isn't even valid. It only has low bragging value
Oathbreaker, 10 Oct 2017While we wait for it, Apple is duping millions for Face ID. Their temporary band-aid they will... moreAgreed
Face ID is lame, just admit it!
All full bezelless phones lack one ingredient to become perfect.. Under screen FPS is the icing on the cake!
The FPS placement on the back is ridicolous already, but Samsung FP placement is the most laughable story of 2017 tech development
Simon, 09 Oct 2017I was sure it was supposed to come to the S9. If it doesn't, I'll really be disappointed. It's... moreS8 is actually backward form S7 edge design
It's only taller, but narrower and downgrade in overall cm2 sizes ...
if you understand what I'm saying, you're not into dumbmasses category
Aadrian, 09 Oct 2017Right, and this will also be in the 2020 Galaxy J series. Yeah, and it will all be thrown away in 2050
So, you better wait until then...
Wait until you don't buy nothing because every year the previous one will be outdated!
The Hike in prices will also be alot!! this years note 8 only cost 1000bucks and the iphone X, slightly more .... wonder what the note 9 or s9 duo will cost like??
This is one of the hardest things to do.. I am not sure how it will work as fast as current gen fingerprints

What if someone clones me?
We need a Soul Detector in our phones!

We want to know whether the S9 will have it or will the release of that phone be too soon for Samsung to include it?
Very interesting development, but how will we let the phone know that we want to activate its fps?
