AnonD-9689, 12 Jun 2011 apple iphone is great if you like it or hate it . because the knows what apple iphones fans a... morefact is that symbian will run equally fast on 1GHz and 680 MHz cpu. and Nokia is EXTREMLY stupid not advertising bigger CPU speed. That would catch at least 50% of the market.

In my opinion, Nokia was the greatest phone maker ever, until Symbian came along....In other words, the best hardware devices and very weak software. I had two Nokia phones that used Symbian and both went dead in the way, software issue!!!

//Nokia is on route to posting next quarterly results at a loss.// Really???!!!
Who would ever think that selling outdated OS on outdated hardware, and appointing Microsoft representative to run company down for selling, will not be good Nokia?
I'm sure, NOKIA council got generous bonuses from Microsoft.

I think the only reason Nokia has fallen behind ios and android is because of its software(symbian). Compared to the 2, symbian doensnt have the beautiful user interface and animations that ios and android has but most importantly it lacks developers. Most of the good app developers have moved to ios and android leaving only a handfull of good apps on nokia. I used to love nokia and thought no one could ever beat nokia but it seems nokia started sleepin when they thought the had no competition till those 2 guys came along

I really am an android fan and because of that, i am pretty sure Nokia will make the right choices at the end. Android is the very best example of an OS, which really developed over some years to the best OS (my own opinion!). WP7 really ain't very good right now, but give it some time and it might even become bigger than any OS right now, but this is still a possiblity. If Nokia keeps on making wrong choices and WP7 doesn't really evolve, than it's over for Nokia and I could not beleive, what happend to such a fine company...

I don't think Nokia WP7 phones can stand out again Samsung's or HTC's. Nokia should make Symbian^3 phones with dual core processor rather than WP7 phones and MS can make their own phones.

I believe that If nokia produced android phones they would rule. Come on Nokia you know Symbian is dead and Windows still can't compete with Android and iOS.

Every phone manufacturer has hat ups and downs. so does nokia. they underestimated android and did not try to freshen symbian at the right time. While android was evolving into a modern os, nokia was sleeping on the throne and when they woke up they found themselves on the ground. But it's never late to learn from a lesson. With the powerful symbian anna and the excellent phones, that will be updated plus the new ones (E6 is a masterpiece), nokia will give a strong answer to all those who claim the throne of the mobile market.

they say Nokia isn't trying hard to satisfy the consumers/ to meet the demands of today's generation.. No they are, they just want to meet our demands without copying something w/c they're famous of... Unlike other brands who are copying for them to become successful... One day you Nokia haters will see that we're back... we're just on a happy vacation right now.. :p

Another one, if Nokia is cheap because they use plastic on mobile phones, then what can you say about Samsung, Ericsson, LGand most of all the HTC? so funny of you to think that Nokia is the King of plastic-made phones.. You're wrong.. Samsung/HTC is holding that title.. Besides, Nokia's Plastic Materials are nowadays resistant to fingerprints/smudges (ex: N97) and Nokia's plastics are durable unlike others..

                                      We really can't please everybody..

AGAIN--> "They've only improved what Nokia has Proven, how much more if Nokia improves what they've Proven?"

c'mon, use your coconut shell.. :p
