Lift the wrist bright screen, with a slight delay, to get used to the rhythm.
pls make review of this phone quickly , since i am waiting to buy new phone .
Also compare it to Oneplus 5 , Mi 6 , Nokia 8 and Moto Z2 Force and other nice phone around similar price range
All phone manufacturers are going insane.
Another phone sequel with a reduction in battery size, this time arround huge reduction.
TO ALL MANUFACTURERS, PLEASE STOP DOING THAT.
I'm really happy with my Mi Mix 2,it's really a stunning phone. And my girlfriend has a Mi Mix 1,so I can compare really good.Already two weeks of use.Sound producing and especially the camera's on the Mi MIx 2 are way better.Battery life is at least 6h screen on time with heavy use spread over 2 days, with heavy use you can reach 8h SOT in 1 day for sure!!!I am coming from an Iphone 7,and I am really happy, didn't expected it that good!!!
GSMArena Team, please can you make review available for MI Mix2 before 17-Oct-17, I am kind of looking forward to buy Mi Mix2.

Anyway, good for you that you don't need a SD card slot. Good for you to be willing to spend more for uploading and downloading data from cloud all the time. For me, i won't ever buy a phone without a micro SD card slot unless all mobile phone company decided to get rid of it altogether.
Anonymous, 12 Oct 2017I wouldn't buy it just because that awkward-placed front facing camera. If you turn the phone upside down, the whole camera UI flips as well.

I haven't swayed from this backup habit in the last 4 years.

Then you will know how good if you have stored data in the SD card too.
That's what happen to my previous phone with 64GB storage on board and without a micro SD card slot. I thought 64GB with Google Drive of 100GB subscription is more than what i need. Until my touch screen suddenly spoilt!! Cannot register any touch at all. Can't even unlock and i didn't backup my photos for months.
So i was left with the option to either spend money to replace my screen or lost my data completely.
I hope this won't happen to you.
AnonD-691126, 11 Oct 2017Wow- I think 18:9 is a mistake. Soon we'll have phones longer than a Slim Jim, but thinner tha... moreSo very true, more and more manufacturers are doing this sick 18:9 ratio now, they simply don't care about usability anymore.
"There are a lot of improvements..."
Oh please, stop the bs. There's only a single improvement, and that's the camera quality, the only thing that was really bad about the Mix 1. (Okay, the CPU is a bit better, but as the old one was already good enough, this was unnecessary.)
Other than that, it's a great deal worse than the original Mix 1 in numerous regards:
- the battery is a whopping 1000 mAh smaller! Are they playing catch-up with Apple's tiny batteries or something?
- smaller screen, and using that horrible 18:9 ratio with poor usability, to make matters worse. Due to that blasted 18:9, it isn't actually 5.99", but rather only 5.5" with a little useless space on top.
- the bezelless design of the Mix 1 was revolutionary. The Mix 2 looks rather ordinary, with bigger bezels and a worse screen to body ratio.
- while the camera got better, it comes with an ugly camera bump. Yet more failed design. Just make the darn thing a bit thicker, and you don't have an ugly bump and can fit a bigger battery.
- headphone jack was removed. Sick trend.
- instead of adding the missing SD card slot, they add a version with even smaller, non-expandable memory.
- because it's so much worse in many regards, it's now 100€ more expensive. What a rip off.
This is just my opinion... The bezel less screen, even though it is big look very small compared to moderate bezel screen..
The side bezels don't look good at all compared to the original. It looks much better on the white version. I might consider getting that one but its going to be expensive.
I was hoping this year they will make it bezeless also down , so for me the first Mi Mix looks better . A shame as I looked foward to an upgrate for the SD835
