Amoled......Nokia please do not use this burning garbage on your phones
only brainless teenagers are fascinated by this garbage.
Samsung S8 phones in two or three months old phones have already burned display
Is this super technology.
Where is the head phone jack?
I wanna see new Nokia (HMD Global) smartphone with big sensor (~ 1/1.2 - 1/1,5 sensor size) like Nokia 808 PureView. Maybe even one ~ 4,7-5 inches (Sony Compact, iPhone 8) and another ~ 5,5-5,7 inches (Note 8, iPhone 8P). And aslo xenon flash, IP68 certified or IP54 and removable battery, AMOLED , FM radio, HDMI port, good loudspeaker, 3.5mm jack (its madness that you have to mention 3,5...), dedicated camera buttonextensive manual controls etc.
The title should say somebody rendered a phone with galaxy Note 8 shape and attached the ugly iPhone X camera hump on its back and a circular chinese fingerprint at the back and calls it a NOKIA 9.. And everybody believes it is the Nokia 9.. Seriously?? This thing looks so bad it is an amateur's job.. The true Nokia 9 will most definitely look much better than this hideous rendition
Debris, 12 Oct 2017I hope it is fake or not final. Nokia 8 looks way betterthats ur point of view , not other
Anonymous, 12 Oct 2017Finally Nokia is backk.. A sexy phone, just it needs to keep working hardand we have to support them , not bashing them ....
AnonD-244675, 12 Oct 2017More like who doesn't want audiophile quality listening experience.
You.Uh... you do know that you can use analogue headphones in the USB-C jack, right? Or the far-improved active USB-C headphones.
The 3.5 mm headphone jack has been surpassed by the USB-C headphone jack. The sooner people realise this, the better. You can get high-quality audio equipment for both.
AnonD-455937, 12 Oct 2017I understand today's software prowess makes up for size of sensor, but why put such a small on... moreWe don't really know what the sensor size will be on the Nokia 9. Given that it seems to have a notably bigger bump on the back than the Nokia 8 could tell us that they've probably gone above and beyond on the camera, given that larger sensors need bigger bumps.
In my opinion: thickness about 1cm (8.9mm) is better than 7.5mm when you can hide (easily) this beauty hump: (3D 8) xD
To hmd: do give to people 4kmAh & do hide those humps! I do not want curve screen!!
AnonD-672395, 12 Oct 2017Protruding Cameras are but bad design. Regardless of whether it is iPhone or Nokia or Ferrari.... moreWhy are camera humps necessarily bad design?
If you want a supreme camera experience, you need to account for sensor sizes and optics. You can have a far better camera included if you don't mind having a bump where the camera is. If the camera isn't important to you, there are some flagships with sub-par cameras but no camera hump. You get to choose which is more important to you; fashion or function.
Sure, it could be argued that you could make the whole phone 8.9 mm with an unbelievable battery size and no camera hump. But this would turn a lot of consumers off the phone, and add a lot of weight. I'm not sure it's a viable option.
Massive camera hump for a tiny sensor. Guess nokia isn't truely back yet...
Finally Nokia is backk.. A sexy phone, just it needs to keep working hard
Camera hump is is too much for a 1/3" sensor.
It needs to bring:
-Dedicated camera button;
-3.5 mm jack;
-Optical zoom (2x, 3x ...);
Carol, 12 Oct 2017When Nokia delivered top noch camera quality, everyone was, uh why would i need such a camera ... moreyeah I know and with the 9 I am expecting a better camera quality than in the note8 and iphones the nokia's 8 camera was good but not outstanding hopefully it'll be much better with the 9.
NichtsGemacht, 12 Oct 2017I am the kind of person that doesn't care much about camera bumps as long as it has a top notc... moreWhen Nokia delivered top noch camera quality, everyone was, uh why would i need such a camera in my phone. All of a sudden, everyone gets up with pretensions. A mass of clueless hypocrites this days.
Lumia 535 same dimensions like Nokia 9, 140 x 72 x 8.8
Protruding Cameras are but bad design. Regardless of whether it is iPhone or Nokia or Ferrari. It's very poor design aesthetics.
