I wanna see new Nokia (HMD Global) smartphone with big sensor (~ 1/1.2 - 1/1,5 sensor size) like Nokia 808 PureView. Maybe even one ~ 4,7-5 inches (Sony Compact, iPhone 8) and another ~ 5,5-5,7 inches (Note 8, iPhone 8P). And aslo xenon flash, IP68 certified or IP54 and removable battery, AMOLED , FM radio, HDMI port, good loudspeaker, 3.5mm jack (its madness that you have to mention 3,5...), dedicated camera buttonextensive manual controls etc.

The title should say somebody rendered a phone with galaxy Note 8 shape and attached the ugly iPhone X camera hump on its back and a circular chinese fingerprint at the back and calls it a NOKIA 9.. And everybody believes it is the Nokia 9.. Seriously?? This thing looks so bad it is an amateur's job.. The true Nokia 9 will most definitely look much better than this hideous rendition

The 3.5 mm headphone jack has been surpassed by the USB-C headphone jack. The sooner people realise this, the better. You can get high-quality audio equipment for both.

Given that it seems to have a notably bigger bump on the back than the Nokia 8 could tell us that they've probably gone above and beyond on the camera, given that larger sensors need bigger bumps.

In my opinion: thickness about 1cm (8.9mm) is better than 7.5mm when you can hide (easily) this beauty hump: (3D 8) xD

If you want a supreme camera experience, you need to account for sensor sizes and optics. You can have a far better camera included if you don't mind having a bump where the camera is. If the camera isn't important to you, there are some flagships with sub-par cameras but no camera hump. You get to choose which is more important to you; fashion or function.
Sure, it could be argued that you could make the whole phone 8.9 mm with an unbelievable battery size and no camera hump. But this would turn a lot of consumers off the phone, and add a lot of weight. I'm not sure it's a viable option.

Protruding Cameras are but bad design. Regardless of whether it is iPhone or Nokia or Ferrari. It's very poor design aesthetics.
