If they would use Tegra, it would have to be something new, unannounced before.

As an owner of some Razer products i can see it going two ways.
1) Typical mainstream with high price
2) Typical Razer disaster

Razer is defined by their products and it's imho hard to tell how well or wrong it can go.
They make ok mice and keyboards, atrocious headphones, some good, some great and some not so great notebooks.

Razer was never realy about quality products, just "gamer branding" and higher price.

It's not the newest or most powerful but you can actually get high quality games that makes use of the chip.

Yes, it is excited to see what Razer has to show off next month. Basically, the more brands will enter the ultra tough competition of smartphones the better it will be. Not forgetting Red as well (etc).

As a owner of many razer products i feel tickling everywhere on my body.
My first razer mouse lasted 12 years and as a heavy gamer i can say it was definitely something.
For a phone i am expecting huge battery and excellent gaming specs.
But we will see.
Dont care if the phone will be thick like tank armour, huge in hands but it MUST support fast charge, it must have huge battery a specs beyond believe.
Something nasty enough to beat all the competitors.

xXENDER FREAKXx, 13 Oct 2017Yeah, and I wouldn't blame RAZER if the camera is not as good as other brands well since they ... moreWouldn't be surprised if they focus on enhancing the gaming aspects of a smartphone, as they've always been committed to provide a better gaming experience seen in their other products, and not venturing into camera performance. Why should they? It's not their forte. There's no official word from them that they are interested in creating a "Flagship Killer" phone. It's probably only you (and the other "game changer" guy) as one of the hopefuls for this unreleased Razer phone to be a flagship killer. I would not expect so much for their camera but I'd be surprised if they managed to build one that pars with the top ranks. Still, I wouldn't hold my breath on how its camera's performance will turn out. I'd only consider it as a bonus if it performs outstandingly. Even if they've bought Nextbit and have already made a Windows tablet of their own, can't dismiss the fact that entering the smartphone foray, particularly through the Android space, is still a novelty for them

Kangal, 13 Oct 2017Imagine that it has a USB-C port which can plug directly into the Razer Core, and boost the gr... moreUh yeah. IF you manage to find any content on Android that can take full advantage of a GT1030 first. Or more appropriately a GTX940MX 2GB DDR3. Or more appropriately a GTX910M You know when they say 8GB of RAM on Android is overkill? A dGPU is waaaaaaaaay pas this that it would represent overkill, plus calling the army to shoot again the dead thing, then ask the prez for the nuclear codes to shoot nukes on the dead thing, and then do the same with every country with nuclear arsenal.

And then you'd hire a murderer on the deep web to kill the already-killed thing. Twice.

And now you'd go through this process approximately 1823 times. And you're pretty much halfway through the appropriate level of overkill that represents a GTX 1080Ti in an Android, even in MaxQ design.
