Knowing Razer, the phone will be bricked as soon as you unwrap it from the plastic and remove it from the tray inside the box hehe (i know, a bad joke. But to be honest, have you ever used Razer hardware or software? They are either very poorly built or scraped out of the box or the software refuses to work or conflicts itself with antivirus programs, etc.... ridiculous for a company this old in the game). They have good designs (meh imo) but that is about it... They have good packaging experiences with premium pricetags to match, when you open the box and start using the product that is when you notice the "made in China" tag more vividly than any other company who produced their items in China with adequate quality control... these guys are seriously a big letdown in that regard, never buying any Razer product in the future.

It is the good thing about the market, that there is a lot of variety to choose from and with a little luck you can find what you are looking for in concrete. Large companies conduct surveys among their buyers and also look at the success that other companies have. If possible, try to create their own trend but do not leave aside the one created by others. You can't risk losing millions of sales if you know that your customers and other companies prefer mostly small frames, or curved screens, etc. In any case make several models for different tastes and purchasing power.
I want to watch this one like all the new devices, but looking that back, it's not for me. At least, this one while I like the Mate 10 and like the Mate 9 too plus several from other brands, of course. Maybe Razer will tweak it in the future to improve it aesthetically.

I personally like Mate 10 much more than what I see in this photo of Razer. It looks ugly, honestly. And I understand that Huawei adapts, the sales experience, by millions, that has been with the Edge and later with the reduction of bezel's size ... can not be ignored. If you want to have great sales you have to follow the trend that imposes the most when you survey your users and if you are a company with millions of them imagine the pressure. You can not stay making a model that only likes a few because you sink and your customers are going to the competition. In the best of cases you can make several models and try to please everyone.

[deleted post]I understand everyone has their preference in design, but giving my 2 cents I prefer the big slab of black from this leak. I personally liked the metal and curves of the mate 9 over the mate 10 leaks so far. I think it is mainly the band across the camera and how glossy the glass is (on the mate 10). Although I will say the presumably volume buttons on this razer leak look weak.

5,7" is then even too big, 5,5" would be better.
(5,7" could be small enough but I bet Razer makes the bezels as oversized as in iphones and the smaller pixel 2 phone)

If that controller has a large extended battery inside then it's a truly unique product
