The dimensions seem to be good. A tad thick by todays standards but if it has ip68 rating then it can be neglected.Samsung SHOULD ADD A DECENT CAMERA just add the samsung s7's 12megapixel shooter for rear camera its a smashing performer in any situation. The Omission of OIS was a serious mistake by samsung. Even the front camera should have auto focus. ( Its not like the old days people read specs know about it & then only invest, if bo ois means 100% you are gonna get @least morr than 70% of images blurry in altered daylight & thats seriously painful)The selfie cameras need flash too as they have employed dedicated dual cameras. The snd660/exynos7885 is as powerful as snd 800's enough for a midrange phone. The display should be as good as s7. It should have some 3300 mah battery or so if battery is increased too much the weight of phone will cause in uneasy one hand use. Samsung exynos chipsets are power efficient & with amoled screen they could juice out more life. VOOC quick charge or some other fast charging solution should be enabled. Samsung should think of pricing it aggressiveley. The midrange smartphones are nowadays powerful enough & efficient too so more people within a budjet will not try hard to extend their budjet to go for a flafship for perfoemance. The chinese offerings are so much more easy on pocket with good quality too.
I hope Samsung won't raise it's price just because of the 18:9 screen :( and i hope thag the price will be the same like it's predecessor.
raz, 16 Oct 2017where is the flash?
The flash is back here !!! LOL
Probably to do what can main cam in iphone, may be interesting on front, but only if I'm not wrong.
No OIS on the A5 2017 was the only real problem holding it back from being a top phone.
This looks fantastic and if it has OIS or EIS out of the gate it's a definite buy from me. It's about time I upgraded from my trusty old Lumia lol.
