When phone manufactures making f scanner at the back, people dislike and ask for front setting, when making the f scanner in front, people dislike and ask for rear setting. I think the serious problem is user not maker. Btw, Mate 10 pro f scanner is rear setting in case you don't know.

The Mate 10 is a great device & easily better than the other Pro & Porsche Design versions (More screen area, QHD vs FHD+,16:9 ratio and front fingerprint scanner and still a better Screen to body ratio than the others, 3.5 mm headphone jack and SD card slot and still much less expensive).
The only things better in the Pro & Porsche Design are more RAM/storage, IP67 protection and the AMOLED screen.
The other goodies such as the impressive front and back camera, the 4000 mAh, the promising Kirin 970 and the Infrared Blaster remain the same for the trio.

Sometimes i don't understand how users complain so much, Huawei has at least done a great job by giving consumers different choices. If you feel the QHD screen,3.5mm jack and 16:9 ratio you can go with Mate 10
If you feel the FullHD+ Amoled screen, 18:9 ratio, lack of 3.5 jack, water resistant certification you can go with the Mate 9 pro.
And if you want the exclusive design you know where the Porsche is.
But what I love about Huawei, with all these choices you get TWO things that are not compromised with all the models and those are the Kirin 970 processor and The Leica dual cameras.
