Nice thing for traveling to track your baggage. For dog, know few people that need this for grandma and grandpa... Have some chinese crap and batthery lasts only 2 days max.

The smart appliances practically acts like a 'checkpoint' for the tag. You want more checkpoint, connect it to more smart appliances in your house. It detects whether you are close or far away from the assigned checkpoint. Your tag furthering away from these checkpoint meaning you know it is no longer there.

Mailman, 16 Oct 2017Correct. Could be useful thing if it's not gonna be overpriced.Battery life is a concern. 1 week is not very useful UNLESS it's highly reliable. Currently, trackers in the market don't seem reliable.

The geo-fence feature o... moreHmmm, it sound so weird to mention home appliances for a tracker since the home appliances are suppose to be smart so any interaction is sufficient between the smartphone and the home appliances. Unless Samsung decide not to build the feature into the appliances or the smartphone and decide to sell you something extra else i still don't get it.
On a dog is or keys are nice though.

The geo-fence feature on the Samsung Connect Tag will notify the user’s chosen smart devices when he or she approaches so, if the user wants lights and TV to turn on while getting home from a nightly run, the Samsung Connect Tag can trigger these products as the user enters the pre-define zone, so the user will get a notification when the child enters the schoolyard or a dog jumps the backyard fence. Dont forget the tracker track the tag, not the appliances that its not attached to. It only 'connect' to smart appliances. Unless you attached that tag on your fridge just in case someone stole your fridge then i wont argue with that foolishness.

wow a whole week of battery life...now I have even more things to plug in. These only make sense if they have a year or more of battery life. So now you can just lose whatever it is during that time you have to recharge it and it's not attached.
