i remember last year kirin 960 just barely beating sd820 and it was bad since all huawei flags of 2017 till today ran it against competition which is sd835 which is much better .... and today kirin 970 still cant beat sd835 that sure looks bad for huawei .
OnePlus have to be removed from any comparing. They cheated but you still put here fake cheated numbers.
Those benchmarks are more annoying every month...
Look. Here is a thing about benchamarks: They test specific thing, in specific time in specific conditions. They can give you some basic look of device power, but most of times difference dont even reach 5-10%
All modern flaghips from 2016 and up WILL give you enough power to run all apps and games you can find for even next two years.
Even some devices with new Snapdragon 6xx series are powerful enough to compete with stronger devices.
For most of time, problems or slowdows are related to user behavior, apps he use and have in background, system configuration and even quality of internet(because phone need to queue data and that take resources.)
Not to mention that system it self is most important. You can fight how powerful Galaxy S series is or how amazing Apple CPU is. It doesnt matter because all those phones have different systems that use resources in different ways. If you would put optimized for it iOS on latest Snapdragon 8xxx you would probably get the same results as default iPhone chip, the same other way around.
I have Huawei P9 that was never on any top charts, but still in everyday usage he is in pair with any other device you choose.... HeII even my old Xperia Z3 still work perfectly with all apps! And loadings times? you need to be mentally ill to cry that your app need 1sec more to load compared to other device...
Where are those who said kirin 970 will beat the A11 chip?
I bet you look stupid right now with a slightly upgraded version of the kirin 960
Huawei's CPU performance is identical to last years Kirin 960 as they are using the same CPU and clock speed .
And the main thing they added is NPU which doesn't play any part in benchmarks in Kirin 970.
GFX 3.1 Manhattan (1080p offscreen) score compare to other phones was wrong because others phone scores is Manhattan 3.1 (1080p offscreen) score test and mate 10 manhattan 3.0 score test
Hate to say it, but for half the price, OnePlus kicks the Mate 10 Pro really hard out of competition here. I know, OP has it's flaws. But to be honest: For users only looking for the best benchmarks (not me), those results are really destroying any reason for getting a Mate 10.
