Be prepared for a huge price drop no one will by this well a handful perhaps.

I have a mint BB Bold 9790 in the drawer and its still working like it did from day one, I liked BB when they did keypad phones.

First they took too long to understand that their OS is not good enough abd now they are taking too long to understand that the price of their device is too high and people have better options.

So I can't see £400 as a solid mid range. With that cheap-mid range SoC, at least, they should compensate adding OIS in their cameras, but no. It could be more acceptable with a 660 plus OIS. Even in software, looking in to crackberry forums, customers aren't happy with the updates. Adding some features in the software doesn't justify that price. They have promised Oreo for Keyone, we'll see when and how.

I don't see £400 being overpriced for a solid midrange phone. The oneplus 5 is £500 and on the rise every year.

They do however need to release a good flagship for a competitive price eg £550-600.

No wonder Blackberry in verge of collapse, in 2017 when smart phone designs are moving forward to increase screen to body ration, what's purpose of releasing a phone which completely does opposite, Blackberry should come up with high end future proof phone with lesser price to gain good market share.

It's still way overpriced.
They need to lower it at least by 30% to remain in the race, otherwise, it's currently battling against the Nokia 8, OnePlus 5, LG G6, and Samsung S7 Edge... a battle which it will lose.

If they drop the price by 50%, then it will be the value king, going against the OnePlus 3, Xiaomi, Nokia, and Huawei's of the market.

Have they made it for their inner workers and some blind fans? Because at that price if they sell a handful of them will be a miracle.

Well done Blackberry... if it has a T9 keyboard, I'll happily buy this phone, and considering it'll be my first upgrade since the smart phone revolution, that's saying something.
