How dull these Google people are. I want to do it like Scotty in Star Trek:
Just use the keyboard.
Keyboard. How quaint.
Haven't received the update yet, but nevertheless, tried it out.
When I said "hey Google", Cortana started listening :D
How about this article state that Google is just copying Apple's Hey Siri.
Fábio Bertell, 21 Oct 20172 questions Why don't change for only "Google"? Why we can't configure one personal command... moreyou can freely do it on mtorola devices, I have moto x2, x3 and z1 all of them has a different name or command to access google assistant, just for example " hey jervus whats the weather like today?" and then it provide all the information you need.
Google Assistant is super buggy and weird. My friend is able to wake the Google assistant in my phone by saying the OK GOOGLE command. We've a deeper voice tone, but our voices are entirely different. It's sucks actually that he's also able to unlock my phone using his voice. Yeah and these things can be done by me in his phone too. I've mailed them about this problem and posted in Google forums, but of no use. We're using redmi note 3 with marshmello and a Huawei honor (mm).

Well it does wake up Google. I haven't updated my Google app for some time now. I'm currently using a budget phone w/ lollipop 5.1.1 and both ok and hey Google wakes up the assistant.
Call me mad but I have been saying "Hey Google and "OK, Google" over and over again ... I am genuinely completely and utterly perplexed.
When they were holding one of their "blue sky thinking" "let's think big" get together, what numpty came up this idea?
Hey Google.. Clean my room. If only the Google assistant worked like that, I would keep it enabled all the time.
