Phone of the year is probably U11 plus or Nokia 9. If both come out this year. Not trading my HTC A9 till something ticks all the boxes.
Fitbri, 23 Oct 2017I am still loving my HTC One A9.
Such a beautiful snappy phone.
Pixel 2 is same size.I love erything about A9, especially the iPhonish design with metal chassis.
I don't care if people say HTC copying Apple while iPhone 6 copied One M7 on the first place.
But I can't stand A9 horrific battery capacity
2,150mAh to supply 5" is just absurd
One of the blunders HTC loves to make every now and then, and no wonder their avarage customers confused and left.
I'm a geek who know specs so I'm avoiding HTC Blunders, altough I still buy:
- Purple tint camera
- only 4 mega/ultra pixel main camera two years in a ROW
- Horrible 20MP camera as successor of 4MP
- Overheating SD810 issue
- Blackbar and bezelss (hasn't been resolved)
- Removal of front facing speakers
And to add salt to the wound, removal of 3.5mm jack when they're already dying...
I use u11, but many play down it just because of the jack a**!

Fitbri, 23 Oct 2017I am still loving my HTC One A9. Such a beautiful snappy phone. Pixel 2 is same size.I also love my hTC A9... but the company is not Fulfilling their Commitment now.
AnonD-546033, 23 Oct 2017This score seems like Kirin 930/935True but there's almost no chance that HTC is using a Kirin chip
My Mi A1 with Snapdragon 625 scores 871 and 4280 in single and multi core respectively. No way the U11 has a SD660
This score seems like Kirin 930/935
This is one ugly phone. HTC never learns. Don't understand why they make such ugly looking phones now. They can do so better.

Totally agree. Results match the ones of SD630.
SD660 has almost double the single core points and over 5100 in multicore.
Should have put 3000 mAh battery, the same with HTC 10's battery, since both sport 5.2" display.
Yes, those scores are indicative of SD 630. If you go to geekbench website and look up Moto x4, it is also misidentified as having "sdm660" when it is actually a 630 chip. The title of this article is simply wrong.
HTC seems to never learn. They just keep putting out failures instead of listening to what consumers actually want.
AnonD-632062, 23 Oct 20172,600mAh battery in 2017? Mammoth Bezels and lemme guess.....No 3.5 mm headphone jack.

I am sure Alex Guinness could guess right, so laziness on his part can be forgiven
Just a I'll informed post first, critics later
The U11 Life has Geekbench scores similar to xPeria XA1 Ultra
Here is the comparison https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=8885&idPhone2=8595
i just hate hTC now... they had promised that they will provide all latest updates to HTC A9, but here we are still on 7.0.
No way that's a 660 with those numbers. Would be more like 1500/5700 +/-
99% a SD630 that has been incorrectly identified.
AnonD-501073, 23 Oct 2017That's a very low single core score for 660.that single core looks more like 630
