Khaled Abou Elseoud, 25 Oct 2017It already took over man, the Xperia XZ Premium is the BEAST of them all.Stop overusing the word beast when it comes to describing Bony phones it's sooo freakin corny and cringy dude, they're not even the best at what they do otherwise they'd make it to the top 10 smartphone companies list lol
60ez, 25 Oct 2017xperia is indeed the king of useless halfbaked gimmickAmen like stupid 3D scanning or useless 960fps recording or inefficient 4K displays on a tiny screen lol
Tann Hauser, 25 Oct 2017Yes you can.
And that "joke" is more than anyone else has, so the rest must be devoid of "hum... moreAre you talking about Sonys 960fps camera sensor? That only works for max of 0.2 of a second ? Who would copy that failed gimmick ?
3D scanning is already available in other apps. So, its extremely unlikely that Samsung would copy anything. In fact, its Sony that will be copying in 2018. Sony will be using OLed screens, and bezelless screens.
biinnntang, 25 Oct 2017Yeah sure, but 1s of lowest shutterspeed is a joke on a camera-centric smartphone. You cant ev... moreYes you can.
And that "joke" is more than anyone else has, so the rest must be devoid of "humor".
Sammy is rumored to be copycating super slomo, like everything rest it copies...
I dont believe it is physically achievable without stacked sensor, but hey, may they try...
Maybe they are starting with 3D scanning copy too...
In fact I dont doubt it.
TomSeo, 25 Oct 2017And yet Samsung is making it's own 1000fps sensor. lets see.. probably samsung will make it better. not just stupid 0.2 second limitation.
sony never do anything right. always create useless half baked stuff (full of stupid limitations).
its not important who do something first, most important is who do it better.
Khaled Abou Elseoud, 25 Oct 2017They have manual mode of courseYeah sure, but 1s of lowest shutterspeed is a joke on a camera-centric smartphone. You cant even adjust iso and shutterspeed at the same time!

Sony doesn't limit it, but it does heat up and dies. That's a failure, but both Sony and processor is responsible for that.
Stop saying that Sony does not allow 4K unlimited.

18:9 is useless
1440p video recording is useless
robdevil XI, 25 Oct 2017Hahaha. You are wrong on some as well :)
-Sony Ericsson Z1010 was first with front facing cam... moreActually Motorola A853 was about a month earlier than Sony Ericsson with the first front facing camera. So, Sony Ericsson was not first.
And your right. Nokia 6131 NFC was first NFC enabled phone. Not Sony.
Acer Liquid was first phone with 4K abilitys.. Not Sony. Sonys phones still can't record 4K for unlimited time in 2017.
Anyway, my point here, is only to prove these Sony Fanboys wrong as they are always lying about Sony by trying to promote Sony.
If only Samsung was this good with updates, I love my s8+ and I'm well aware of their update policy but imagine how much of a better company they would be if they could. I know it's easier said than done, Sony has a pretty clean build where as Samsung has touchwiz to integrate which takes more time. The s8/s8+/note8 won't see oreo till at least January from what Samsung turkey have said
Anonymous, 25 Oct 2017Sorry to reply with the real truth, but your Wrong on everything about SonyÂ…

The first camera phone was sold in 2000 in Japan, a Sharp J-SH04 J-Phone model, although some argue that the SCH-V200 and Kyocera VP-210 Visual Phone, both introduced months earlier in South Korea and Japan respectively, are the first camera phones.
