Of course apple is satisfied, but expect quite a bit of buyers remorse, especially around Christmas time.
And I'd bet it's not about price tag for most people, but lack of value.

i'd prefer bottom notch, so the phone doesn't feel top heavy
and maybe with bottom notch, they can bring back fingerprint scanner at the front

What happened to "bezel-less" ... those side bezels are huge and just as big as the 6, 7 and 8 series. And that camera hump. Seriously this is that $1000 iPhone looks like.
