Doesn't seem like Google bothered with beta test the hardware before approving it

The phone is gorgeous, so much to like and love the eco system. Glad the tweak is coming. Be just fine.

If this is Apple, they would tell you to replace your ears because you are hearing something that they cannot hear.

Sure, maybe, it does not affect the performance of the device. But it may affect the user's performance on the device for being bothered by it

I want Google to succeed with their phones. I thought the first Pixel and Pixel XL were great phones, aside from omissions I will not get into detail here.

I think bad phones are the least Google has to worry about; big data being one of them.

Had this with my Pixel XL brand new out of the box. The lense was screeching when the camera focused. Upon calling I was first told by Google this is NORMAL. Obviously it wasn't having used iphones and Samsung devices, heck even OnePlus devices.

Their support are clueless, got a replacement finally which had a Auto focus issue, sent that back now on my 3rd handset. Quality of pixel devices is rubbish.

Google just stick to your Android software and leave the phone building to OEMs.. Android has a lot of features to catch up to custom Launchers like Touchwiz.. Even Oreo can't keep up.. What still missing the auto brightness toggle from the pulldown tray? What still missing the kill all app from task switcher?

If affected device is not performing as expected, and if the only currently known countermeasure is to disable NFC feature (thus limiting available to use features of affected phone), than to claim that such issue is not affecting performance in any way could be called a blatant lie, no?

What how it not affect the performance?? Those pieces of crap pixels should not be making noises on their own (due to wireless or power interference), its as good as a phone with no audio capabilities you maggots
