Anonymous, 25 Oct 2017iOS is the most pathetic computer / mobile OS of any kind that I have ever used. And I have us... moreExactly. They try and paint this flawless picture. And it's couldn't be any further from the truth.
And all the people who are more likely to tell you the truth are not on these forums.
And the real life experience and issues are so different than what all these articles, fanpeople, and certain sites will have you believe.

Like how they revolutionized the smartphone supposedly. All they did was see where it was going and ride the wave. And copy what they wanted, but advertise the hell out of it. And claim superiority. And people just ate it.
A flip phone was more functional. Could record video, MMS, some had camera flash, some had file managing, most could run flash, many had sd support. And these are just basic phones. Not even the smart phones.
And they were not the first with touch or capacative or anything.
It literally could not even MMS until over two years and 3 phones later.

Zenodroid, 26 Oct 2017Samsung and Apple sheeps will always do everything to hide the flaws and just praise the brand... moreThat makes zero sense. Apple charges the most for the least.
Samsung charges a lot and has not been doing as much as they used to. But by far still offer the most in features and specs.
Google, LG, and HTC for instance. Especially google and LG have over charged more for less a lot more than Samsung. Even costing less the V30 and Pixel 2 xl are more over priced than the Note8 by means of tech and features.

And all companies have sheep. And they are all on the mine is better than yours kick and mine doesnt have flaws whiles yours does.
And the reason that is less true of samsung is because they generally are on top in many areas. And that upsets many people that want to exaggerate issues and talk about lag.
But as far as the bad ones go it's more like apple an sony fans.
The rest just vary underneath them.

And I have us... moreSamsung and Apple sheeps will always do everything to hide the flaws and just praise the brand higher and higher. I was a Samsung sheep myself, but I saw how much worse they got and how much more they became the new apple. S7 was my last Samsung, s3 was my first. But tried Samsung since galaxy s came to our shop.

As for me, i don't need the oreo update on my note8. In fact, never needed the latest android version in each phone i purchased the last 4 years. While nice to have them, the current ones are already stable and efficient. The bottom line is it's a want, not a need.

Maybe not as much as Samsung does, but anyways it's still gorgeous as hell. Samsung's skinning is way over the top, to the point where it slows the phone down.

The fact that their software is still feature-rich while remaining functional and very fast to be updated only proves how much Samsung could still learn from Sony when we talk about software.

Zenodroid, 25 Oct 2017Oh, so you are saying that ios has more bugs that need to be fixed all the time? Nice one iOS is the most pathetic computer / mobile OS of any kind that I have ever used. And I have used quite a few (including OS2/ Warp!)

Reason: its makers think the users are best served by obviously limiting functionality and user friendliness, and with a bad UI. It will take 20 iterations or more before it becomes as usable as Android is today

Wish I had known this before buying. And i blame iSheep like you for painting a hyped picture and hiding iOS' flaws to the extent that information on just how pathetic it is, is not even easily available. Every review just glosses over the facts about the sheer degree of backwardness of iOS

Samsung's version of Nougat is significantly more advanced than than Google's Oreo and is also more stable so I'm not in a hurry for an update.
