bwahahahaaha.... Google giving middle finger to India.... Just like Apple...... It's high time Indians give the same back to these shi*tbag companies to knock some sense into people at those companies who decide that kind of pricing..... If samsung can sell Note 8, a 929$ phone for 67000, a 949$ phone has no business selling for 81000, not like people even care for Google phone, even with competitive pricing Nexus didn't do all that well in india, why google even bothers to release these ovepriced piece of j*nk phones in emerging markets, they'll get enough people willing to blow cash in developed world, Pixel 2 XL (or iphone X for that matter) is 2 months salary for most software professionals(a profession often considered with wages above national average) in india.... Costs more than 2 decent i5 laptops, all that money to browse facebook or upload pics on instagram or chat on whatsapp, or to flaunt that highly fashionable dongle, which they were kind to provide in the box, shoved up its a*se(i mean USB C port offcourse) while you want to listen to music ??? , granted camera is great but you can buy decent point n shoot if you are into photography that much and save a lot of money, or buy premium phones which actually look n feel premium and are not overpriced for what they offer.... when will these companies learn the to read the mind of indian consumer, who goes after value first. Price becomes lot more important in markets such as india where high end phones cost more than monthly wages(before taxes) even for people with well paid jobs...
Google thinks they are Apple, but only in prices.
While their phone design looks cheap, the hardware quality is low, and there is only minimal quality testing done on their devices.
I don't get why these Pixels are so expensive. I'd love to see GSMArena conduct a comparison between the Pixel 2, One +5, Nokia 8, and other "pure Android" handsets.
Stay away from Pixel till they stop making dumb phones with ridiculous pricing. Pixel 2 XL has plethora of issues already and this is king of bezels
I am the most satisfied Indian after buying Samsung Galaxy S8 for Rs.42K ($650) [eBay] n not waiting for this f*cking Pixel at this dumb pricing!
Google needs to rethink why did they enter the smartphone market....Wanna be another apple..
Fellow Indians just stick it with Indian Micromax brands or some Chinese top ones, because Apple, Google and Samsung treats you like a cows(in milking way)
The Galaxy Note 8 is priced at INR 67000, while Pixel 2 XL costs INR 81000. Haha! My sides hurt.
I have decided and also suggest people not to buy this and stay away.
1. Its horribly priced for no reasons and no justifications.
2. Display is one of important aspect for a phone and pixel2 series sucks badly in this based on various trusted websites.
3. Even LG V30 is using the same display and it too sucks here.
Totally disappointed from google. I fell pixel is somewhat better than pixel 2 and Nexus brands have done better.
Rather than saying Rest in Peace, I'd say Burn in Hell, Google Pixel :)
Stay away from Pixel Xl 2 . It has a long list of problems. Just search for Pixel Xl 2 display problem or sound problem or screen tint. I think they will have to recall it like Samsung Note 7 . And see how much they charge for this. Looks like that Pixel 1st generation is a better bargain on Flipkart.
SZtadir, 26 Oct 2017May be a total of 5 people will buy this. Not because they can't afford it, rather because tho... moreI want Pixel to do well and like the eco system but I am very keen to see the compact / max screen 140mm Nokia 9 and HTC U11+ before deciding to purchase
Google logic :
1. If We can't make a beautiful phones like Samsung, LG, iPhone or HTC so we will make an ugly one and that's how we will differentiate our product.
2. It seems that everyone has developed liking for punchy colours of AMOLED screens so we will use an colour fades display and that's how we will differentiate our product.
3. Every other brand is trying to increase their value for money so we will increase our prices to maximum and that's how we will differentiate our product.
In reality there are many people with least understanding of smartphones and with a lot of money who can be easily tricked to buy shit like this. Let's target those rtards.
