Anonymous, 27 Oct 2017Nope ! India merely tech user not innovator's, China is the Innovator's, that's why Xiaomi &am... moreThat's because China had the headstart on manufacturing, least bothered about IP rights, no democracy to shine about (brute force government). In a noisy democracy like in India even a smallest reform (in education, tax, labour, banking) takes many years and easily a decade. With more products come under "Make In India" you can see more innovations, products etc would start coming out in the next 10-15 years.

For all the haters and lovers of India... Just wanted to know, who taught you people the term "son"... which you brandish so brazenly as though its been part of your respective vocabularies since the dawn of time...?! Most of you don't exactly speak english with the expected level of fluency to carry off that particular expression... So it makes you look rather silly.. instead of condescending...

ssbatman21, 27 Oct 2017Just keep quiet. Indians are more than a decade behind of west in terms of living situation. ... moreBut the gap will soon be overcome, within the next few years. If Indians in the US can run Google, Apple, Microsoft, Indians in India will eventually figure out how it is done. Its already happening...

ssbatman21, 27 Oct 2017Just keep quiet. Indians are more than a decade behind of west in terms of living situation. ... moreyou just keep quiet. India was much more rich and prosperous and far ahead than any western country in the past. India had a great civilization much before any westerner was born in this world. Western countries looted some countries to become rich. Now the western countries are going down again to where they were originally.

Indians are more than a decade behind of west in terms of living situation. There has been no "prosperity" for over a century.
You still cant get an ambulance on time. And india has no major player in the tech industry.

Anyways by 2030 there's going to be serious overcrowding over there as its projected their population is going to exceed China's by 2020 which is incredible considering how India is 1/3 the size of China. Think 1 billion+ middle class people consuming goods and services where are they going to put all the waste?

I believe for sure if Xiaomi does not relent in the very good job of midrange and low midrange phones that come with more features and yet lowest in price. They may come to number one for sure.

If iPhones in India would cost the same in the US, Apple's growth here would be substantial.
