Anonymous, 27 Oct 2017Just flash a European firmware to get the fingerprint scanner working And warranty? But for the average buyer, this phone is without a FPS. The average person wont bother searching how to enable it. If its not on the carrier specs sheet, then its not there.
If 8 comes to canada I'll get it.

Oh I just checked. The XZ1 is 70$/mo everywhere at 0 down (Manitoba/Saskatchewan is 55$). That's the least expensive flagship with SD835 available at 0 down. But no signs of FP scanner.
Pricey for the XZ1, good choice releasing the N5 here. Better than the Galaxy J3 Prime (J3 2017 for Canada, which has an SD425 and Nougat) and no other phone uses SD430 here (except Q6, but its as pricey as the S7 so not worth it). No one buys feature phones, and the 3G network is being decommissioned (Bell/Telus only have HSPA+ and LTE networks) so the 3310 is stupid. And the N3. Why. No one wants MediaTek here so keep it for you. I'll wait for some serious release, like the N7 or 8.
Pretty much every Flagship Phone (S8, S8+, Note8, Pixel 2 XL, V30, XZ1, G6) is priced North of CAD900 (i.e. even after considering Career Discounts, if there is any such thing).
Waiting for Black Friday deals to see if any of these becomes a bit affordable.
Is this more than 800 american dollar?
