The other party shouldn't get "The message was deleted" message.

Please also add an option to the WhatsApp group to block the messages of a particular person in the group so that recipients do not always have to be disturbed by a person who sends a lot of unnecessary messages.

AnonD-368020, 27 Oct 2017Too late, Zuckerberg read my comment on gsmarena. Paid WhatsApp services are coming. I wish I ... moreI paid for WhatsApp i am guessing 5 or 7 year subscrption till like 2019(i think) before Facebook bought it. I loved that app so much that it made sense to pay years in advances b4 any price hike. At this point it makes no sense to start charging for services again.

I use whatsapp because people is not intelligent enough to look for better applications, but i consider it a bad application, many of its "new features" were already present in apps like Viber, including phone/video calls and delete already sent messages. i think the only useful feature (which again, is not new) is replying messages.

Oh, the cancer of messaging reached Whatsapp... I could understand adding removal of not seen messages (and that actually makes sense) but deleting seen messages? What's the purpose?
Fortunately there is only a 7minute window instead of retarded 48h in telegram... without any information that something got deleted (and this comes for a fan of Telegram! but now I'm revising my sympathies...)

I prefer Viber as it has a functional desktop version that syncs without the need of having your phone's wifi on (something really silly from Whatsapp so I don't use whatsapp much because of that).
Viber has paid calling to landlines as well for small fees.
Viber had delete for me/everyone for over a year or two now. Whatsapp is always late in the game even though it was one of the first created app.
