AnonD-392500, 30 Oct 2017Do you really think that G6 is a durable phone? Lmfao!!! It can break even before you drop it lol.it withstands a drop of about 2.5 ft twice in past 6 months from my desk, so yes I do think it is durable, not like a rock but still durable.

I'll admit they were great in the past (the first electronic device my family ever bought after we immigrated to the states was a Sony TV in the early 90's) but they've been surpassed for a while now.

At the very least they could have given 1080p screen and a fingerprint sensor in the plus version to make any sales in this market. I don't think Sony brand would do much here in terms of sales.

very good affordable sturdy excellenent rear and front cameras for such price . If we compare it to the z3 performance wise it is modern usb-c , better marerial not breaking glass. with all improvements when possible. currently I use the sony x compact and must say that the plastic body sides and rear is the best any phone could have , it want scratch when 90% of people use covers , very sturdy nothing but nothing happen if is falling. also the R1 has the latest of the android firmware where the z3 cannot get it . well done Sony.

I guess making all those world's first every year for others to use later makes Sony little, it doesn't matter, all Sony haters just repeat the same things but the best thing is that in every phone from any brand there is something Sony inside, no the other way around. Good line lol.

P.s. I am not even a fan of sony. I use LG G6 as my daily driver and a Nokia feature phone for backup.

This and the Nokia 6 are really good mid-rangers as they have amazing camera unlike Xiaomi RN4 or Mi A1. RN4 isn't that great but Mi A1 is a beast of a phone but it's camera is a HUGE letdown. Sony Xperia R1, Nokia 6, Moto X4, Moto G5 Plus, Lenovo P2, LG G5 SE, Nokia 5, Nokia 7 and Oppo F5 is better than Mi A1 just because of Camera. I wouldn't say P2 has a great camera though, it is slightly better than Mi A1's.
