L0lip0p, 29 Oct 2017For that price i can get a macbook pro hee where i live,i would rather build my own hackintosh (if i really like osx that much).
I've never been on a phone for 3 years before, which is what I'm doing now. I can't believe that it was the last generation that brought actual tangible change AND costed less. How come phones became JUST more expensive, and to this point? The Nexus 5 brought more to the table and it was 299$. The iPhone X is 1000$! I really hope Xiaomi enters more and more markets and snatches the market share from the comfortable makers of today, because once my phone break, I have no clue what I'd even buy as everything is just more expensive, but not better.
Anonymous, 29 Oct 2017I do, because if I buy a flagship iPhone, it is still usable after 5 years, which can‘t be sa... moreRight. Tell that to my friend's iPhone 4s on iOS 9 that lags like a POC.
My cousin is still using a Galaxy S4 today and it doesn't even feel that slow by any means. It's not as fast as the latest Galaxy obviously, but very far from being unusable like the 4s
Also, your comparison is plain stupid. The Galaxy Note 2 was released at the same era as the Galaxy S3, so of course that phone won't be able to keep up with the iPhone 5 which was released at the time that the Galaxy Note 3 was released.
Even then, another friend of mine also has the iPhone 5 that overheats like a toaster after being used for quite some time. Against another friend of mine's Note 2, the Note 2 was quite cool even when playing Nintendo Emulator for a long period of time.
Oh, and the screen. Even the Galaxy S2's display still looks much more beautiful than the iPhone 8's display.

Second one is not. Disregarding boot loops, the G4 pretty much blows the SE away. But that's unfair because both are intended for different users and purposes.
Build, battery life, fingeprint scanner, performance, and boot loops aside, the G4 offers way better experience.
An Android user that has tried both devices in reality.
It is getting beyond my capabilities to own Apple devices. I am stopping with 7 Plus and migrate to Note 9 platform next year trading my Pixel XL and 7 Plus! Apple products no more becoming aspirational ones instead it is getting into luxury or super premium categories! May be I can evaluate its worth if I could own one!
Good luck to Apple!!

Let's forget about being matured, 'cause I want to be realistic here.
In case someone met an accident that distorted his/her face, or he/she wearing a makeup that literally makes him/her look different, FaceID is their only option. So if their phone is locked, how are they supposed to get out of the lockscreen?
Ah the PIN. I thought nobody uses that already.

*sigh* With almost half the battery capacity as the Note 8, inferior camera (like literally, even Mi A1 beats it), locked-down OS, weak screen (by today's standard), extremely slow charging (unless you use an iPad charger, which costs $20), performance that WAS great (still great today, but Note 8 pulls way ahead), and so many more, it may not be that worth it at all.
For small phone lovers, it can do. Or they could just get the XZ1 Compact which is much better.
