Nokia should have just used the same camera module from the Lumia 950 / XL with further refined processing (not really necessary but still...) , improved the OIS to 5 axis , increased the apature to around F-1.7 or 1.6 and called it a day. It would have been class leading in every respect. Taking this dual 13 MP route is not what Nokia is known for.

Is it dual sim phone ?
Will the quality be same at India as european market ? As India is seen as dump yard. I left using i Phone just because of it . What they sell at US and other western countries and what is available in India , have wide and extensive differences ..

There are patents and terms of agreement between Microsoft and Nokia back then to prevent Nokia branded smartphone up to certain year. Whoever want to pickup Nokia name would have to wait.

What does MS support have to do with HMDs implementation of an app on the Android platform!? We realise that ur all about Sony, (bitches) but can u use the correct criticism for the correct company if ur gonna troll? Just a suggestion.... (bitches)

Anonymous, 31 Oct 2017What does Microsoft have anything to do with the camera app when it's HMD who owns it now?Is that MS left it the same thing for straight 5 years.
If HMD company would indeed do their job to support their Nokia-named devices, then I might turn back.
But while it's never too late to anything, HMD didn't salvage Nokia early enough for them to remain competitive. LG has got them already beaten in terms of camera software and features.

I think Nokia will only bring this back via a new flagship like the Nokia 9. Maybe after that it may roll out to other models.

Great news. Lumia camera UI was one of the best I have ever used on a phone. It was great to use to capture manual shots. Waiting for more classic Nokia technologies like PureView to make its way to Nokia Android devices.
