Weiman, 01 Nov 2017Any news on A3 2018? A5 at 5.5" is way too big :(I also had the same thought, but take into account that their bezels will be very slim so the form factor would probably remain the sameish.

I don't blame that, I myself even though I am their fan who buys their high-end flagship every year have definitely some things I hope they can do a better job at

Sony Fanboy Bitches, 01 Nov 2017Most of Sony's bloatwares can be removed/uninstalled. I don't know about Sony phones but I'm ... moreYes, their bootloader is unlocked easily. My very first Sony smartphone I bought XPERIA SP I used it for unlocking bootloader and flashing a custom ROM after a few years of using it (bought it in 2013 and flashed a ROM in 2016) That is the my first and my last time doing that, I am glad the first and last time I did it worked. Well u have to go throught a lot of steps. Firstly u have the root, then unlock bootloader throught computer, and I have to flash my ROM I want for the smartphone, which is STRYFLEX MARSHMALLOW V2.0. The hardest part is unlocking bootloader. It is easy to unlock, but if u missed the steps u will have a very hard time, and might end up making your smartphone stop working

Out of 26 bloatwares in my XZs, 12 can be removed and 14 can't be removed. And my XZs is international unlocked version. But, in spite of too many bloatwares, my XZs is still smooth and fast after a month of usuage. A phone's performance depends on type of chipset and optimizations done by manufacturer. Today's phones can handle huge load of bloatwares.
One thing you are right is even though you are a sony fan, you don't know much about sony phones.

I don't know about Sony phones but I'm pretty sure that their bootloader can be easily unlocked.
As for the real cr*pwares, Samsung has got so many duplicate apps for almost every Google app inside of it.
And the mere fact is that Sony phones run like butter even with that many apps installed. Install like 20 apps on a Samsung and notice how they slow the phone down quite noticeably.

Basically, I prefer faster updates too. More latest Android version could support much more things like some apps, in which in the future, there will be apps that will be compatible with Oreo but not with Nougat.

A-5x cores are high efficiency (lower battery usage) cores that deal with regular tasks/power-saving mode.

The A-x5 series is brand new and is much more efficient and faster than the actual A-x3 series.

The Exynos 7885 is an upper-mid-range SoC meant for longer battery runtimes. It will be found on mid-range phones like the A series of phones and tablets. The six next-gen Cortex A-55 cores are perfect for dealing with the regular tasks you'll be asking out of your device. And the A-75 are perfect for the high-demand tasks.

I hope it has new cores, using mediatek 6750 for simple task is great, but is shit when u multitask and do more demanding things like watching stream or couple tabs open in stream or app updating.. hope A55 is much better

Custom roms almost always have bugs and not stable and low battery life.
Using third party apks are not good also. They have bugs and will push ads. May also steal your information and send it to their servers.
