Boldy, 01 Nov 2017For anyone saying this is an issue with lag, it's not. For lag, the phone will catch up after ... moreThanks for the information. Now a restart for a high end phone just to fix a problem is easy enough to do, but it shouldn't be there in the first place.
Hopefully Samsung is now taking in charge for the problem and fix it ASAP.
Ivan, 01 Nov 2017I've got the device (exynos) for 2 weeks now and i don't have this problem. Anyway it doesn't... moreMaybe you're one of the probably-majority of lucky ones that didn't experience such issues. But now it affected most of the users of the phone in Europe and US, so this has got to be some serious problem.
The fightings are just from people who can't admit that even the best of the best would still suffer from some problems at some point.
Samsung isn't perfect, but the thing here is that it's so common nowadays with Samsung phones that people are no longer surprised to it.
Every manufacturer that makes mistakes or gets issues with their products are always made fun of; it's typical, welcome to reality my brother.
Anonymous, 01 Nov 2017I'm so done with Crony's annoying cronies. They are everywhere on this website. Then get out here now. Nobody needs you or cares about your feelings anyway.

Programming language "Swift"
OverNah, the solution to stop adding so much bloat on their custom skins, not to mention adding too much bloatware and crapware, particularly with carrier versions.
Even the Nexus and Pixel phones have bloatware courtesy of Google like those Play apps (Books, Movies, Games etc excluding the actual Play Store app). They should not have them pre-installed and should just let the user download them from the Play Store if they wanted those apps.
I had such issue on my S7. After few days of freezes device motherboard died. Service center was not able to replace board in acceptable time, so I returned phone and get my money back.
so far no issue for me.

L0lip0p, 01 Nov 2017Nope, try iphone, doesn't suit me, too limited Try with sony, smooth and still got android ve... moreYea besides iOS is getting more and more buggy too, but most i-fans are just too fanatical to admit or even notice.
This phone is slowest is gaming test, last phone to load up a game, also random FPS drops with graphics bugs on this video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_FGBj0h26Ew&feature=youtu.be
BiyoBiyo JunJun, 01 Nov 2017try change the brand to iPhone .. and see how it goes ...Nope, try iphone, doesn't suit me, too limited
Try with sony, smooth and still got android versatility,
Although not the feature rich as grace ux
There is no place to worries just because GN7 FE started $823
I like some Samsung products like their SSDs and Memory Cards, but definitely not their phones. I've had too many issues with their Android devices, either the battery is crap (gets bloated or expands) or the software lags too much despite disabling a lot of bloatware. I prefer brands that have close to stock Android like Sony or even Huawei.
I have been experiencing the same issue on my GS6 since i got the update to Nougat. so I don't think its limited to the GN8.
frequent freezing while using Uber app.....:(

Esp... moreYep, bugs are present on every Android phone. And if that guy has never seen the Play Store crashing, he really hasn't interacted with Android phones for more than 1-2 weeks tops.
Software do crashes. It's normal. We don't live in a perfect world where no errors occur. That isn't too much of a big deal.
I've had my S7E for a year and never had any problems like any serious crashes, UI slowdowns or other bugs. But i've kept care of my phone, always did a software maintenance at least once a month, never installed any suspicious apps, etc. etc....
How you take care of your phone is how your phone will take care of you. As simple as that.
Anonymous, 01 Nov 2017 If you've never seen that message then you haven't used many androids or for that long. Esp... moreI have seen it and it was much more critical (The whole UI was crashing), but it was on another, even crappier manufacturer's phone - Lenovo's. On A Huawei and even my previous Jiayu - nope, i haven't.
Honestly, I prefer GNX (Galaxy Not X) to this GN8
I'm sorry to say, but my iPhone 6S freezes a lot after the latest update, requiring forced reboot almost daily.
