mark, 01 Nov 2017oops.. where are all the Sammy fans out there? freezegate LOL Wow ...a freezing contacts app. You sure showed everyone and found a great gate. Very comparable to bendgate that lead to touch disease. Or antenna gate. Or firegate

Especially if you dont think others ever had bugs as well.

NoToBrandLoyalty, 01 Nov 2017Nah, nothing new for Samsung. Samsung Galaxy's UX is already notorious for being buggy. That's... moreOh god. Because every other phone hasn't had some form of bugs. Not limited to some crashing or freezing or something.
Try using reality every once in a while

Nah, nothing new for Samsung. Samsung Galaxy's UX is already notorious for being buggy. That's why I won't even touch a Samsung phone with a 50 foot stick. I might buy one of those Samsung Gear watches though.

No doubt that samsung has improved their smartphone's software a lot even in their budget devices.but its ridiculous to hear that a $1000 phone freezes.

The contacts freeze is not so annoying as the freeze when there is an incoming call. You can't answer and you can't stop it ringing until the other party hangs up or sometimes it will continue to ring until force restart and then the battery starts to heat up.
I really hope we don't get exploding Note again....

LOL not surprised. Last month i went to a shop to test J7 2017. During testing, i suddenly got "play store has stopped working" without even opening it. I've never seen this message (Or any freeze) on my less than $200 Huawei. Sure it's very laggy, but this is normal for the price. The point is, you can't rely on a Samsung phone. Samsung phone is only Display, camera and CPU. Put when it comes to details and reliability, they suck. Software, speaker, battery (Note7 comes to mind, but not just it. Samsung batteries tend to swell too often too).
