Sony make great phones but there designs just suck. You look at your phone all day you want something nice to look out not just a brick which is what all sony phones look like, there damb ugly not notch in the screen ugly but almost.

Serves them right. They truly believe that by keeping some dramatic changes such as lockscreen, clock widget or focus control for older models would somehow benefit them. Their job is not to set things right but to see them right. Two thumbs up!

Sony is NEVER going to give up on there mobile division, EVER. Smartphone biz is one of the most lucrative and steady-growing investment any company can step into currently.
Might be saturated with companies here and there but it simply will be foolish for sony to give up. Will literally place them in a bad position as far as tech reputation, credibility and product sales is concerned.
kaz have said it all, they are simply waiting for a sort of paradigm shift to pounce with whatever arsenal they are cooking up or had before.

60ez, 01 Nov 2017i dont think so. sony's slowmo is half baked. useless because it only last for 0.2 second. If you watching the Super slow motions on documentary channel, they also use it for short periods, they don't use the super slow motions for a long periods, this is because the specify times to be highlighted,
example runners finish the line, photographer will capture the super slow motions on runners crossing the line, they won't take a very long record super slow motions from the starting to competition endings!

Sony lose users xperia win!! My xzp cost 600 euros + free headphones 300 euros cost.
Apple and xamxung win money and users lose, they paid more for less.
1000 euros for obsolets and slowers phones.

If G7 uses oled next year, I will consider it for replacing my S7.

Sony doesn't have oled phone. That's the problem. No way they can compete with Samsung using LCD screen.
I used several Sony phones in the past. Their android software is the best but hardware spec is not.
