It was supposed to be an increase, but the cancer of bezel less trend hurted it so much. It's like it's just one thing that changed the mood of their sales.
People be like "What good is a smartphone when it's got large bezels?"

Here's to hope that Mirai design would salvage the credit that they deserve at the very beginning.

We Sony fans are sincerely hoping for a big comeback next year.

Anonymous, 01 Nov 2017mirai will be just another huge bezel plastic thing. mehFalse! Mirai will likely be a "bezelless", 2:1, high quality plastic mixed with some glass and metal phone. OmniBalance is shown as a boxy slab that as implied, put your finger on the middle part of the phone and it'll balance itself (equal distribution).

Sony lacks of advertising and the prices of the phones, other than that is great. I hope sony can takes actions to improve its advertising and reduce a little bit the prices of the phones and it will be great.

            Sony should:
            1. Stop selling low-end phones, Samsung already cornered that market. Focus on the X Series.
            2. Release only 3 to 6 phones a year, no low-end phones and not release new flagships every six months.
            3. Move manufacturing from Japan (rumored) to some other countries like China or India.
            4. Increase advertising.

They wont make no profit until they listen to their customers, let them kill the bezels then we'll talk profit later.

Wait for events like MWC. Sony will release the "Mirai" design language for their Xperia phones and it'll rake in just as much money as the PlayStation.
